A good value right along the riverfront.
Pros:A very spacious one-bedroom suite (3 rooms) on the courtyard; it might have been an upgrade. Very good quality breakfast. Courtyard can be noisy.
Cons:Only by reducing the tossing around of delivery items at the ground floor of the courtyard in the evening and in the morning.
Location:Great location in Boppard along the water front street.
The hotel feels a little tired; we were split on how much we liked it. Our room faced the inner courtyard. This was nice as it was indeed more shielded from the river (shipping) and road noise and from the church bells. However, the evening was noisy with restaurant and office activity at the ground floor of the courtyard. Our room was actually a 1-bedroom suite and felt VERY roomy. The towels in the bathroom were by far the best found in our vacation. Warm and no screen on the windows, but so many windows that a little bit of breeze in the room was obtained. There is a sun terrace within the courtyard on the 2rd or 3rd floor, for the guests. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.
There is a small lift. The breakfast was one of the best of our 2 weeks of vacation, with the best coffee and with excellent meats and cheeses in particular. However, the location of the food layout was particularly cramped. You can find parking in public spaces on the fronting road along the river or in public lots; you must pay at the parking lot machines for the daytime hours only.
This is a very, very nice hotel if only it didn’t seem a little dated.
