Welcome to Pelmo Apartment, a cozy mountain home located in Borca di Cadore, along the historic Strada Alemagna that leads to Cortina d'Ampezzo. An ideal place for those who want to experience the authenticity of the Dolomites, between nature, sport and unforgettable views.
The location is truly privileged: a few steps from the apartment passes the famous Dolomite cycle path. From here you can start discovering one of the most fascinating cycling itineraries in the Alps, which connects Calalzo di Cadore to Cortina d'Ampezzo, crosses the Cimabanche Pass and reaches Dobbiaco, offering spectacular views of Alpine forests, pristine valleys and the iconic Dolomite peaks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This charming apartment on two levels was born from the skilful recovery of a traditional Alpine Stube, reinterpreted in a contemporary key to offer maximum comfort without losing its authentic charm. The rooms preserve the warmth and character of tradition thanks to the use of typical materials such as wood, the protagonist of the spaces, and the presence of precious original elements carefully recovered, such as the ancient trunk that tells the story of the place. A perfect balance between mountain atmosphere, elegance and modernity, ideal for experiencing a welcoming and authentic stay.
On the ground floor you will find a warm and characteristic living area furnished in authentic Alpine style, with comfortable sofa, television and traditional wooden table with chairs, perfect for sharing breakfasts and dinners after a day outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for your stay, including a kettle and coffee machine.
From the living room, you access the sleeping area through a typical mountain loft staircase, rather narrow and steep, which may be less suitable for people with reduced mobility or those who prefer traditional stairs.
Upstairs, a romantic double bedroom awaits you with a beautiful handmade headboard made entirely of wood, which gives the environment a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room is completed by a practical wardrobe and a pleasant view of the surrounding landscape.
The room also has a private bathroom for exclusive use, located inside the room, for greater comfort and privacy during your stay. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet.
Among the services available to guests are a free public car park located right in front of the house, a practical storage room for bicycles and skis located in the cellar and a service room on the ground floor equipped with a sink, toilet, washing machine and dryer.

City Tax: € 1,50 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 5 nights

House Rules
The apartment can only be occupied by registered guests at the time of booking.
It is recommended to take the utmost care of the furniture, appliances and all equipment in the accommodation.
At the entrance of the house it is required to remove your shoes, in order to preserve the cleanliness and good condition of the rooms.
Before leaving the apartment, always check that lights, appliances and stoves are turned off.
We also invite you to use electricity responsibly and sparingly, avoiding waste and leaving unnecessary appliances or lighting on.
It is mandatory to carry out separate waste collection during your stay. The waste disposal bins are located in front of the warehouse. We ask you to respect local guidelines for the proper separation of waste.
Do not leave waste inside the apartment at the end of your stay.
It is forbidden to move furniture and furnishings without prior authorization.
Any damage, failure or malfunction must be notified promptly to the owner or the personnel in charge.
It is recommended that you close doors and windows carefully every time you leave the apartment.
An external staircase is available to access the cellar; however, in case of ice or conditions that may make it slippery, it is mandatory to use the alternative route from the road side.
The keys to the warehouse must be stored according to the instructions provided by the staff before departure.
Check-out must be done within the agreed time, so as to allow cleaning and preparation of the accommodation for subsequent guests.
