Coop bathrooms were seemed to always be in use every time I went. People would never flip the signs that it needed cleaned and signs would still say trash for use after they got out of the shower. Check in greeting wasn’t great. Stood at the counter a the clerk took a while to acknowledge me.

Boston is typically a very expensive place to visit so this is very good value and style for the price. The bathrooms down the hall, although shared, are very private and are being cleaned constantly. Would stay here again.

Enjoyed the hotel, bed set up was a king with a bunk above was perfect for me and my daughters. The bathrooms were right across the hall and easy for us to access. Plus water and ice right there too! Which was great since it was a hot day in Boston.

It’s in a nice walkable neighborhood. It’s 10-15 min walk from Amtrak and 15-20 min walk from the first stop of the Freedom Trail (Boston Common). The place is nice and hip, and surrounded by several bars if you feel like late night drinks or small bites. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Decent amenities. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Fast check-in & check-out. Love the decor and the history of the hotel.

A Unique and Cool Stay in the Heart of Boston I had a great experience at the Revolution Hotel! It's such a unique and stylish spot—definitely not your average hotel. The elevated hostel-style rooms with bunk beds and shared hall baths were thoughtfully designed, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they had everything I needed and made excellent use of space. The vibe of the hotel is modern and creative, and the common areas were inviting and well-maintained. Best of all, the location is fantastic—an easy walk to great dining, shopping, and some of Boston’s best neighborhoods. Perfect for travelers who want something a little different and don't mind a more communal style of lodging. I'd definitely stay here again!

My friends and I stayed here for one night. We got the quad with the shared bathroom. We were very happy with everything and slept well. The location was also very convenient for walking to dinner and around enjoying Boston. Reception personnel were super nice on both days.

It’s impressive how they try to maintain the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms. I was somewhat skeptical about the shared bathrooms but it wasn’t as bad as I feared. Our room was actually right across the hall from the bathroom so it was really convenient. However, that meant that we had to hear nonstop noise coming from the hallways and bathroom. Ear plugs were a must. The room was very small and smelled like a sweaty person peeled onions in there. But the hotel has really nice touches. It’s cute. No public transportation right near by.

Room was cramped with just enough room to fit the bed and all of my luggage inside. The air conditioning and pipes made frequent wet noises throughout the day/night. TV went out repeatedly. There was a safe which was nice. The shared bathrooms smelled like a public pool, one shower had good water pressure but no heated water, another one had heated water but poor pressure. The bath bundles were not checked for quality because one bathrobe was ripped and the other one was missing a waist tie. No on-site parking was a pretty significant hassle although the hotel vouchers did lessen the parking expense by a small amount. Was only an 11 minute walk from a reliable garage. However, beautiful area to be in and the lobby and restaurant were nice too.
