We had an okay stay at the apartment and it is reasonably priced, but Iâm not sure Iâd stay again.
The kitchen is well equipped for most cooking needs, the sofa is quite comfy and the dining table set up is okay. The view is fantastic over bourg but the balcony had tired and broken furniture. The radiator is verging on unacceptable, it is positioned right beneath the door to the balcony and is frankly a safety hazard.
The bathroom is pretty tired and grotty in all honesty, the grout is mouldy and in some places quite unclean, and the bath panel isnât fixed to anything so moved about- not great.
Upstairs the bedroom with two single beds has a very low ceiling and most annoyingly a window that leads to the internal corridor/ stairwell which wasnât explained well on the property page, this meant lots of loud noise from other residents coming home from folie douce and no real natural sun light- pretty disappointing. There is also nowhere to really store your clothes apart from a rail with wire hangers- pretty poor.
The double bedroom has a fantastic view and the bed is okay. The drawback in here being there is NO main light apart from a lamp which isnât great. There is a wardrobe in this bedroom but is the cheapest one they could fine clearly and has seen better days. The windows also donât open in the main bedroom, condensation builds up and can feel stuffy.
The pillows provided for all rooms were too small for a normal pillow case and were more cushion like which were not great for sleeping.
Overall the place is VERY tired and dated with poor level of decoration/finish - poorly painted and massive gauges out of the wall where lights/power have been installed. The furniture is cheap and tired and the bathroom ESPECIALLY needs some work.
