Hobby house II is 2 blocks away from downtown Boyne City's great restaurants, bars, brewery and taprooms. No need to drive! We have Central Air, WIFI and cable. This home has been completely renovated and is ready for you and your families vacation stay in Boyne City. The backyard features a large deck with dining area, lounge area, gas grill and fire pit. The interior has the feel of French Country charm with lots of trim molding, hardwood floors and fireplace. The kitchen is open to the rest of the living area, features all new appliances and fully equipped kitchen.

This was a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of Boyne City with so much to see and do. This house was very comfportable in a quiet neighborhood near the river. Lake Charlevoix a few blocks away, a bike path that one way takes you into Boyne Mountain and another way into Young State Park and Avalanche Preserve with wonderful views and hiking paths were great October fun. The backyard was so private and the firepit and wood supplied were appreciated.

Great outdoor space!

There is a wonderful backyard with a fire pit and outdoor dining area. We also saw deer and other wildlife in the field right next door.

The best week

Even better than we expected. The pictures of the home are great and the actual home is even better. The decor, furnishings, appliances, etc are well crafted, of quality, and curated to be comfortable while also fitting the vibe of the area. Boyne City is a great location for enjoying the activities and events of the surrounding cities as well.

Charming Cottage – A Perfect Getaway!My daughter, granddaughter, and I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cottage. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a home away from home. The space was beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need.The outdoor area was just as lovely – inviting and peaceful – perfect for relaxing in the mornings or winding down in the evenings. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into making this cottage feel special.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming place to stay!

Very Disappointed

Walking in the front door we were struck by a VERY strong mold/mildew smell which never diminished in spite of humidifier running 24H. We only stayed there to sleep. The thermostat kept switching to heat and we would walk in to an odorous house that was now 78-80 degrees during summer in July. Owner was informed but brought the wrong sized batteries The fan in bathroom was hanging from the ceiling and was obviously not functional. One sink handle in master bath just fell off the first time we tried to use it. We could have overlooked everything except the SMELL.

Great house!

Great location in Boyne City, was walking distance to downtown, very convenient! The house had everything we needed for our stay and the hosts were very responsive to our needs. Only recommendation would be is to have room darkening curtains in window over tub in master bedroom.

Very Charming and Close to Town

This was a very charming home that exceeded our expectations. Many antiques were incorporated into the updated decor of this home that really delighted us. The home had everything we needed including a very nice back yard set up where we could enjoy the outdoors. VERY close to town, just a 5 minute walk. The host was very gracious and responsive to our needs.

Great spot. Walking distance to everything downtown Boyne City, beautiful and cozy back yard for sitting around the fire at night. Great value for the price. Would rent again in a heartbeat!
