We have stayed many times, and it is a regular spot for us as it is conveniently located just off the autobahn, coupled with a really good restaurant. Perfect for a one night stay.

Absolutly fantastic place to stay. Only stayed one night as we were passing through, but would definately stay again. Just perfect for what we wanted. Restaurant was beautiful, the food was reasonable priced and excellent quality. Staff were amazing.

I checked in quite late and my key was on reception waiting for me (as it is unmanned at night). Long story short, but my electronic key would not work in room50. It was the first time that this room was to be used since having a new style lock fitted. I called the out of hours telephone number several times and nobody answered. I ended up sleeping in my van in the car park. After explaining this to the receptionist in the morning, who was incredibly apologetic, they offered me a free breakfast and full refund. And since contacting hotels.com for the refund I am told that neither the hotel nor hotels.com will refund as it is outside of the refund policy. So, nobody answers the ‘out-of-hours’ phone at night, key not working, accepting the issue and now trying to get out if it. Very disappointed with this hotel and hotels.com for not refunding this booking.

Fantastic Hotel. Conveniently situated just off the Motorway between Hamburg and Munster..an idyllic location. Family run and the Receptionist was so helpful. I ate in the Restaurant..and wonderful food was eaten..fine dining in my opinion. Fabulous room in one of the buildings set in the grounds. A lake and forest all part of the complex.I wish i was staying longer.Highly recommended.

Superb hotel in all possible ways!

This is a hotel where staff do not know what good they can do for you, the atmosphere is so relaxing, the restaurant brilliant and, what a breakfast! And they are very dog friendly! We will certainly return and I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering where to stay in this area!

Very nice hotel family owned. Excellent room in Landhaus with comfortable bed, tea making facilities and well equipped bathroom. Up to date decor and pleasant ambiance throughout. We had a lovely meal in the evening and there was a great choice for breakfast. A very good one night stay.
