Welcome to our retreat on the main channel of Smith Lake, Alabama! With 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, bunk room, and a prime location, this is the perfect destination for your short-term getaway.

Each of the 4 bedrooms has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and serene atmosphere. Blackout shades and curtains will ensure you get the rest you need to enjoy each day of your stay. Each bedroom has a bathroom, so there's no need to worry about sharing facilities.

One of the highlights of this lake house is its deep water access, perfect for avid boaters and water enthusiasts. A spacious two-story dock allows plenty of room for sunbathing, swimming, and simply enjoying the water. The swim deck and swim ladder, as well as provided kayaks and paddle boards, allow the kids and kids-at-heart hours of fun in the water. There is one slip available if you would like to bring your own boat or rental. 4 adult life jackets and 1 child life jacket are provided.

A favorite feature of the house is the breathtaking sunsets, creating an unforgettable backdrop for evening gatherings. A well-stocked puzzle and game closet, and foosball table will allow you to have some family fun as you unwind from a busy day on the lake.

There is a dedicated electric vehicle (Tesla) charger on-site, allowing you to easily charge your electric car and explore the local area with peace of mind. For other EVs, bring your 50 amp cable or adapter.

Smith Lake and this home have provided our family with many hours of relaxation, providing us a wonderful, healing retreat. We are happy to share this space with others and know you will experience similar peace and relaxation here.

Additional details:
3200 sq ft lakefront home comfortably hosts and sleeps 12 on 2 different levels. There are 3 porches and an outdoor fire pit. It was built in 2018, so there are modern amenities and furnishings throughout. The downstairs outdoor space features a 30-inch Blackstone griddle + charcoal grill.

-  For security and to maintain the integrity of the property and neighborhood, we have installed outdoor cameras. Cameras are on the outside of the house only and cover the parking area and the dock.

- Boat to Trident Marina and enjoy a meal from the restaurant served on their patio
- Visit downtown Cullman: stop at Karma's for a cup of coffee, browse through the shops, and enjoy a sweet from Flavor's Bakery. In the summer, visit WildWater Cullman or a local park.
- See the iconic Smith Lake Castle by the water
- Drive to Huntsville and visit the Space and Rocket Center

Amazing in every way!! Our group absolutely loved our long weekend at Chateau Marlowe. From the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds, we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Although we didn’t spend much time outdoors, we had a lovely view from the main living room….so we felt connected to the beautiful lake. Britney was very responsive and seemed genuinely happy for us to be there! We will be back!!

Beautiful, Clean, Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on Smith Lake. The property was clean, beautifully styled, and very comfortable for our group of 8 adults and 3 young children. Britney was responsive and easy to communicate with. The dock with boat slips was super nice to have. We felt at home here and would love to come back! Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing house for multiple families!!

We had two families with several kids staying at this house. Having the lower level for all of the kids to hang out and play was a huge bonus! The house and grounds were absolutely amazing! The house was also very well stocked with things like pots and pans and seasonings. We all enjoyed the two-story pier, kayaks, and paddle boards. The owner was very responsive and gave us several recommendations of fun things for our families to do on the water. We will definitely book this house again when we come back to Smith Lake!!

Perfect Lake House

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake side home. The home has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals, which we did for most of our stay. The boys loved using the outdoor Blackstone griddle. We all enjoyed swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and floating on the large mat. The host promptly replied to any questions I had. The family all agreed that the house was the best one yet on Smith Lake and we can't wait to return!

Best Place Ever

We stayed here for three nights over Memorial Day weekend because our son was getting married at the Barn at Smith Lake. This property was 10 minutes away and was so perfect. We had a few other family and friends staying with us and we all agreed it was an amazing property. The entire property was super clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with utensils, basic spices, pots and pans, and a tea selection. Every time I would think "I wonder if they have...", I would find it. Although we were very busy with the wedding, several in our party found time to swim and to make use of the paddleboards. We had a simply lovely time and are thinking of renting it in the future "just for fun". Britney was a fabulous host and responded promptly any time we had a question. I highly recommend her and this property.

Barnes Wedding

Beautiful location!!! We had family in for my son's wedding at The Barn. This was a perfect spot. We had 10 people; Aunts, Uncles, and other family from Chicago and New York who stayed and there was plenty of space for all. Also, this was only 3 miles from the venue. The house layout was spacious and everything very accessible to all. The porches and patio afforded gorgeous views of the lake and landscape. We would, definitely, stay again. Wonderful Smith Lake Rental

Great location on Smith Lake. Near Trident Marina. We brought our boat as there is an open dock slip with the house. Not a steep drop from the house to the dock, which is two-story. At the dock, amenities from kayaks to SUP boards. House has an open plan, with many amenities and modern appliances. Absolutely would not hesitate to stay again. Owners very responsive to any inquiries during our stay.

Perfect end-of-summer long weekend!

This home was absolutely perfect to celebrate the end of summer and treat our son to a long weekend with his close friends before school starts. To say the home comes well equipped is an understatement. The kitchen set-up was so convenient with a large table that set 8 and oversized island with comfortable seating for more. The kitchen is spacious and made all the cooking we did more fun. We bring everything with us to cook but inevitably you forget something and the nicely stocked spice cabinet came in handy in a pinch. The Blackstone was a great touch and we certainly used the charcoal grill - both cleaned and ready for use. The four bedrooms were spacious each with their own bathroom and extra blankets and plenty of towels were provided. There is also a half bath in the living area which was convenient. The boys enjoyed the foosball table in the downstairs area that also has sofas and a TV which allowed a place for them to hang out. The paddleboards and kayaks were a great addition and we had room for our rental boat to dock. Wonderful sunset views made each night special. The home is very clean, nicely decorated and all the furnishings are new. The porch had nice seating, too - very comfy and there's also a table and chairs if you wanted to have a meal out there. The host is responsive and easy to communicate with - she responded nearly instantly! Very welcoming! We had a great time and would most certainly rent this home again!
