My friends and I all wished that we could have stayed longer at this lovely secluded home in the country. It was so quiet, sitting on the swing under a huge old oak tree, looking over a field of wildflowers and hearing the wind chime's mellow song when a soft breeze blew. The house was very well cared for with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms upstairs share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The 2 downstairs bedrooms each have their own full bathrooms. This was a great place to get away from it all.
This rural lodging is everything that it claims to be. Our family was staying as we attended a wedding in the area and found the home very clean, comfortable, and well supplied with cooking accessories, games, and fishing tackle. The beds were very comfortable. The bench swing under the massive Live Oak tree was pleasant.
The private catch-and-release lake provided much entertainment. I even caught a 3 lb. large mouth bass that is back in the lake waiting for the next fisherman. We had a great time and I recommend this property without reservation.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The trip was a working trip, helping a nearby relative move. Weather was hot, so coming back to the cool, comfortable, nicely appointed cottage, was the reward at the end of each day!
