Over two hundred years old, this former farm building is in a perfect holiday location to explore the coastal attractions.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space: With stone floor.
Living area: With electric wood burner, Freesat TV, DVD player and CD player.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
First Floor:
Bedroom: With kingsize bed and beams.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Games room with pool table (shared). . Sitting-out area with summerhouse, verandah and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the grounds, 50 yards away.. Over 200 years old, these former farm buildings are steeped in history, and were once home to the German prisoners of war during World War ll, Copper House being their main residence. Lovingly converted and nestled adjacent to the owner’s home, with grassed paddock and nature walks where visitors may glimpse sight of owls and badgers and enjoy the abundance of wildlife and countryside views, whilst children have lots of space to play. This perfect holiday location has something for all the family.
An ideal holiday location for exploring the East Yorkshire Coast with miles of award-winning beaches, all within 5 miles. The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, is just 1.5 miles away, where you can take in super views across to Flamborough Head whilst spotting the many rare bird species safely nesting. Scattered across the East Yorkire Coast are many quaint villages with shops and inns in abundance. A 20-mile drive brings you to the North York Moors National Park, and the village of Goathland, better know as Aidensfield (Heartbeat’s very own village). Historic houses nearby include Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. Bridlington with sandy beaches, fun fair and indoor swimming pool is 10-minute drive. Scarborough with theatres, restaurants, shops and sandy beaches is a 20-minute drive. Golf locally. Beach 2 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
The Milking Parlour (ref 18439) can be booked together with Copper House (ref 18435), Shyre Stables (ref 18437), Rockville Cottage (ref 24376) and Rockville Lodge (ref UK2503) to accommodate up to 18 guests.

Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage. Warm and welcoming including the cake, eggs, milk, tea and coffee on arrival. Lovely hosts. The area is wonderful and with walks in all directions no need to use the car.
Would definitely recommend even on cold sunny December days.

Gorgeous little cottage.
Gorgeous little cottage. Clean and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome, even our little dog. Would definitely recommend and would consider going back there

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location! We had the perfect weekend stay at the milking parlour, it was spotlessly clean and looked so welcoming when we arrived. Everything we could possibly need during our stay was available. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made it clear they were available if needed but equally gave us space to enjoy their property and garden which is also beautiful. We would have no hesitation booking again.

This is a really lovely cottage and Richard and Claire the owners are very friendly and take great pride in their work! Bempton cliffs is a must do visit. The local pub the White Horse does a lovely meal and the welcome is good. We will return no doubt as there is lots to do in the area.

Spent a lovely week at the Milking Parlour with my family.
Spent a lovely week at the Milking Parlour with my family. Cottage was cosy and very comfortable. Owners were very friendly and left some delicious cake, milk and eggs for us on arrival. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our baby son which was very helpful! The grounds were lovely and would suit older kids as there's lot of room to run around. Would definitely return!
