This comfortable home and away from home is ideally located in central Bongaree and is only a short drive to the shops and eateries.

Family stay

We stayed for 1 week with the family. The main bedroom was comfortable but the mattresses on the bunk beds are all very thin, I wouldn't recommend for older children/adults. The back couch covering isn't the best but overall property was fine for a holiday.

Peaceful location

The house is in a good location with views up the canal from the house and back garden which makes it a restful spot. Being such a pleasant place to sit we were disappointed there were no chairs to relax in, only small dining chairs in the outside area. We did not realise we not had to supply bath soap and dishwashing supplies including sponge/chux so we had to buy those.

Lovely house on the canal. Quiet street. Very relaxing watching the boats on the canal. Would highly recommend for short or long stay.

Stay at Dolphin Drive

Overall our stay was good, house in good location. Kitchen utensils grubby as was oven. Workers entered side gate without warning to cut grass which was not good when staying with a dog.Washing (a quilt cover) left out on clothes line.

Lovely home on the canal for a long weekend

We came for a long weekend... and will definitely be back. Great to be able to 'stop and smell the flowers', even if only for a couple of days. Bedding configuration is a little confusing, but we were 2A+1K for 2 nights, and 3A+2K for the last night... but we made do (the couch probably folds out but we didn't investigate as an adult in a single beds worked for us. We hope to see you and stay again soon.

Fabulous

Our dog thought the holiday was for her. The yard had a large area of grass which our unit doesn't and she entertained herself. The house was very clean with every appliance you could wish for. Quiet neighbourhood and lots of water craft on the canal to drool over. We will definitely be back.

House was comfortable

The house was comfortable, small things that are just regarding an older style home. Cook top was difficult to use due to no numbering or designs on top to support the hot plate in use. Frypan didn’t work. And the house was “clean” but not overly clean, it could use a really good bond type clean. There were silverfish in the bathroom and closet. And the yard especially the backyard was extremely untidy with tree branches and very untidy gardens.

Kimberly at Elders Bongaree very helpful. But Brenda was most annoying and unhelpful. Will not rent through Elders again. If I ever need to rent again will try for a house with a check in that does not require a real estate

House on the canal

The house was in a quiet location and it was lovely to watch the sunsets over the canal. Easy walking distance to Pumicestone Passage. The house is well equipped and being tiled throughout, great for a beach location!

Canal front at Bribie

Bribie island is lovely and great to find pet friendly accommodation, however we would not recommend this particular place to others. Reasons... spartan like ambiance, random, slightly greasy crockery. Suggestions for improvement: 1. get rid of the dirty chair in the first living room. 2. Throw out all of the dishes and crockery and invest in new clean sets (target has nice ones).3. Put up some happy signs and pictures on the walls(remove any negative ones) Thanks for having us Though. Bribie was lovely.
