First time I've ever stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was grand.
The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. Probably the most basic stay I've ever had but not bad at all, you get what you pay for.
Dealing with Marta was a delight, great service indeed!
Probably the worst experience ever (...and i've been to 'third world countries'). To be fair, i've not used a shared bathroom facility stay for mt travels before but i'm not sure i should be met with faecal stains in both toilets. The communal areas were untidy with left over food and plates everywhere. The finishing (floors, carpets, etc) looked like they had seen better days and were in utter disrepair. The room wasnt very dissimlar.
Was supposed to stay two nights but left for another place the next morning without using the bathroom. Only got a meager part refund for the first night but no refund for the second night I didnt stay with a poorly concocted excuse/explanation.
On the plus side, great location and they had an excellent communication system in place, maybe a bit too much (got close to 10 emails + sms and still conting). Half of that energy should have been channeled towards keeping the facility in a habitable state really.
I really hope they take the feedback into consideration.
Wanted a refund from the door expecting a nice room that was missing represented on top of everything else like the toilet that wasnt cleaned dusty and the longe room was not a place to lounge as well as the kitchen attached to it never rushed to get a different place faster and you can find it for the price I paid I wouldn't have wanted to stay there and the refund process takes its time when you figure out you need to do it
