Tucked above Brixhamâs harbour in a maze of quaint, pedestrian streets, this coastal property is a wonderful choice for friends or families to enjoy a seaside escape. Stroll to three beaches within 1 mile, explore the popular townâs shops, galleries and places to eat, or head out for invigorating walks on the coast path.
The end-of-terrace townhouse is set over four floors, and accessed via external steps. Enter the open-plan living space to find a welcoming lounge area with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with everything the chef of the holiday will need, and includes a microwave and a dishwasher. Thereâs a dining table where everyone can gather for hearty meals or to plan your next dayâs adventures. On the lower-ground floor, a cosy snug includes a sofa, bean bags and Smart TV. Thereâs also a shower room and a utility room on this level, and access to the courtyard. Head up to the first floor to find the double and bunk bedrooms, sharing a family bathroom. The top floor, reached by a cottage-style staircase with restricted height, comprises a king-size bedroom tucked under sloping ceilings and benefiting from harbour views through its skylight. The pretty courtyard is the place to be on a sunny day for al fresco drinks or dining. As for parking, look for a space on the streets nearby, or use one of the public car parks, subject to availability.
Brixham boasts a working harbour and an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as three beaches, one with a tidal pool. There are ferries to Torquay or Paignton, cruises to Dartmouth and the chance to go sea fishing or scuba diving. The family attractions of Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo and Woodlands Adventure Park are all within 10 miles.
