I cannot fault the property. The initial instructions to get in were a bit challenging and the first code provided didn’t work but once we contacted the reception they immediately issued a new one. The property whilst small used space well and was modern with all amenities we needed. Both beds are on a mezzanine which we knew when booking and this worked well for us. My only real criticism is the street on which this property is (which the hosts can do nothing about). There appears to be a homeless hostel at the end of the road nearer to the city centre. There are always people outside and several times we had people shouting at us and making us feel intimidated. There are notes up everywhere about robberies and burglaries in the property and this didn’t let us feel safe. In the other direction there were homeless people sleeping under the bridge and a gathering of middle aged males constantly. One morning at 4am we were also woken by screaming on the street for around 30 minutes. I think it is a real shame as this spoilt our stay and is no fault of the property or host. If the property was two streets closer to the city centre I don’t think we’d have noticed and would be giving 4/5* rating.

Perfectly sized, modern apartment, with clever layout of beds on a mezzanine. Nice bathroom and well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Nice plates, mugs, glasses, cutlery. Washing machine machine and dish washer with tablets were also there. Everything was clean and it felt welcoming. The location was great too with short walk to main attractions. We were two adults and two children aged 11 and 14. Only downside was the first day and night it was extremely hot. It had been 31 degrees celsius outside and the room was very hot. Especially the mezzanine where the beds were was hot. We had all windows open and had the fan on that was provided, but it didn’t help. The property could do with fans on the mezzanine, perhaps bladeless quiet ones. Our second night, when there had been a thunderstorm and the weather had cooled down, the apartment was absolutely perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Brno. In particular our kids absolutely loved it and were sad to leave.
