Romantic Ocean View Cottage with Starry Night Sky Gazing!

This is simply a lovely cottage situated on my property 1000 feet above the Pacific Ocean on clear days you can see forever,the house itself sports a beautiful bedroom with top of the line mattress and bedding, the living room offers a leather couch that folds out to full size comfy bed. Also a single comfy futon. I provide Wifi and dish satellite TV with surround sound. If it is peace and quiet you are looking for, then I am 100% sure you will find this the perfect place,
For all those uncertain about the fall on the coast! October is always the perfect weather! Clear,sunny and usually warm during the days. It’s like the quiet before the storm. Just beautiful. Did I mention the sunsets?
Now it’s winter! And the winter storms are sometimes spectacular up here, strong winds and ominous skies.
If that attracts you, then come on up to the top of the mountain. You gonna love it.

Loved this peaceful setting in the hills overlooking the ocean. The cottage was warm and welcoming, and the hosts were always available but also gave us lots of space. Very comfortable bed, an elk buck grazed in a field below the house, great deck for dining and sunning, I could go on and on. This place gets five stars plus!!

Perfect anniversary get away

From first booking the trip to driving home our trip was perfect. Nicky and Peter were great hosts. They made sure we found the house and showed us around the property even though we arrived late. The house was well stocked and very clean. We were by a small elk herd one morning just outside the back deck. The location was great for exploring the Rogue River and the Redwoods. We highly recommend staying at Nicky and Peter’s place. What a beautiful place to celebrate our anniversary!

This property is absolutely unique. One of the best accommodation I stayed at. Peaceful, beautiful ground, view of the bay. The rental is an entire house, very well appointed, spacious, and ultra clean. Very comfortable queen bed. The rental faces the bay and the view between the trees is stunning. The owners have a separate house on the same lot. Lots of attention to details: power cords, candle outside, recommendations, etc. Owners are very welcoming and thorough. The grounds are stunning with fruit trees, magnolias, flowers. Really loved it - I wish I could have stayed much longer. Next time!

This place is spectacular. The views from there are incredible. We were greeted upon arrival, and given a quick tour of the property. The owners are very nice and helpful. The place was spotless. We even woke up to elk on our last morning.

Pet friendly, Beautiful view and decor, Perfect in every way!

Location is fantastic. Close to town, beaches and trails. Ocean views from up on the hillside are stunning. Hosts Peter and Nicky live down the hill and very kind, caring, fun and attentive while also respecting privacy. *Pet friendly* which was key for us. The unit is very clean, warm and beautifully decorated. Huge, decoratively-tiled shower made us never want to get out of our piping hot showers each day! The bed and furniture inside and outside on the balcony are all very comfortable. There is a new, nice grill that we used to cook some fish that Peter generously shared with us! We hope we have another opportunity to experience the quiet forest solitude of this little slice of heaven again someday!
