This 20 year custom old post and beam timber framed cottage has 3 bedrooms with queen beds. 2 small bunk rooms with 2 beds in each. , along with a bunk room of the family room with 4 extra long twin bunks.
4 bathrooms, (1) full on the second floor (1 1/2) on the main floor, and (1) full in the basement. Open concept first floor with fully equipped kitchen. Great room with flatscreen TV, and fireplace. Walk out basement with pool table and air hockey table. Entire house is wired for music with volume controls in each room and easy blue tooth

Huge veranda deck over looking the peaceful Saco river. Kayaking, swimming and fishing from the back yard. Large fire pit located in the back yard. Hammock and plenty of outdoor seating included. Walking trail maintained around the 3 acres.

Everything a vacationer would want all within a 5 min to one hour drive from the house. Or just relax, enjoy the property, the deck, and the lazy saco river

It was a perfect family Christmas gateway!

Thank you to the hosts, Linda and Gary for letting us stay at the wonderful house during this magical time that is Christmas! This place is so enchanting. We had a blast hanging around the fire pit while the sun set. we can feel the warmth in the house, everything was well thought out! we felt so welcome. Special thanks to David who had prepared our late night arrival and came back in the morning to show us the house. Special mention to the cleanliness of the house. From all the houses we've rented, which is quite a few, this is by far the cleanest. This was the perfect house for our little Christmas Getaway! Thanks again for everything :)

Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, meticulously maintained, warm and inviting. The house layout is perfect for spending time together while also having plenty of room to spread out. The game room in the basement and the backyard sledding were big hits for all ages. The homeowner & caretaker are terrific and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property and we hope to be back.

This was an amazing stay. Every detail of this house was thought out and beautifully put together. We stayed in February and the kids absolutely loved the sledding hill and provided tubes. The pool table and air hockey were definitely a favorite as well. Thanks to the owners for helping provide some amazing family memories!

House is beautifully crafted and in a prime location for all the winter fun. Our two families had plenty of space to relax and enjoyed walking along the Saco, sledding on the property and fires and movies at night. 100 coming back in the summer to enjoy it in nice weather.

This is the first rental we've stayed in that had flat bottom cookware. The worked great on the cook-top. The stairs are tricky. I fell on them and am still nursing a sore shoulder.

Family River Fun

Beautiful large home right on the Saco river. The house inside and out was loaded with things to do, i.e., tree fort, fishing, swimming, ping pong table, pool table, arcade, fire pit, huge deck , We brought our kayaks and large 12 person rubber raft and had a blast on the river. Also, for a day trip, 40 minutes to StoryLand. We will definitely return.

This rental was one our best so far! The house is fantastic with lots of room for multiple families. Check-in was easy, the kitchen is well equipped and the entire place was very clean! The grounds are also quite impressive. From the firepit to the large deck and down the path to the river, it's a perfect place to play or relax. We will definitely keep this place on our list to stay again...maybe next time in the winter!

Our family of 8 stayed here and loved everything about the cabin!!! Well supplied kitchen wonderful fireplace,if we had any complaints it would been beds were a little hard, but that is personal preference. Highly recommend and would definetly come back!

Winter Wonderland

It felt like a cabin straight from a Hallmark movie. It was cozy, comfy and spacious. The fireplace, decor, game room, huge deck and wonderful sledding hill made us feel right at home. The firepit and the swing by the river and the river itself was very relaxing even in the very cold weather. Linda the Host and David the caretaker were both warm and friendly people. Linda reached out to us to make sure we got settled in and all was comfortable. We didn't want to leave!

Girls week

We were a group of 7 lifetime friends celebrating our 65th birthdays. The house is fairly remote from towns, and it was a little difficult to find as there were no house numbers or other identifying markers on a rural road. However, the pictures do not do it justice. The location is absolutely beautiful and the owners have spent a great deal of thought and time into turning the property into a virtual waterside playground. The house itself is stunning and everything was clean and in good working order. Linens and towels were abundant and the kitchen was also very well stocked. We swam off the dock in the chilly Saco in mid Sept. We were blessed with sunny days and cool nights. North Conway, Bridgton, and the Kangamagus Highway are all within reasonable driving distance. The caretaker met us there and gave us a tour, and was available by text with any questions we had. Would highly recommend this property, heeding the owners descriptions of the childrens rooms and lofts, as the former are really meant for small humans and the lofts are not for the faint of heart!

End of summer vacation

Had a wonderful week using the property as a springboard for kayaking, hiking and shopping. Enjoyed grilling on the deck, cooking indoors and roasting marshmallows and hotdogs at the oversized fire pit. Several fantastic nights for stargazing. Also enjoyed a couple quiet nights making use of the TV downstairs and game room.

What a beautiful spot!

We have stayed in many house rentals and this place is at or near the top of the list! As others have said in their reviews, the photos don't do it justice. The architecture and quality workmanship of the house is beautiful. The combination of that along with the size and beauty of the property is what makes it unmatched in our travels. The array of entertainment, inside and out, is fantastic. David, the property manager, stopped by to see if we had any questions and later, when questions came up, was very quick to respond. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Property - Rustic meets Modern

This property is a gem of a place to stay. Linda and her caretaker provided a seamless check-in process and tons of helpful suggestions for activities. The property is immaculate and has all the modern amenities one could need. All this in a rustic log cabin type setting with an incredible layout with many common areas for group activities and other areas offering solitude and privacy. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Looking forward to staying here again!
