2/10 â Terrible

The dirty, stained couch and sweet, disinfectant type smell were the first things I noticed when entering the hotel room. The AC not adjusting properly was next. The thermostat went from 70 to 59, but obviously wasnât working well. The room temp didnât ever reach a good sleeping temp. The bathroom was very clean. (I just didnât stay to use it.) I went to bed and immediately noticed that the sheets were permeated with the smell. I told myself I wouldnât notice while sleeping, my body did. I woke after about 2 hours and my head was pounding and the smell was nauseating. I wanted fresh air, but knew I couldnât return to the room once I left the smell. So I put on a jacket over my pjâs and checked out at 2:14 am. The very young and sleepy night attendant took my keys and offered to give me some âsprayâ when I explained that the smell was overwhelming in the room. He did not offer to put me in a different room. So I spent $200+ for 5 hours in an awful hotel room. I drove on in the middle of the night, which was scary as they were poorly lit and I obviously had very little sleep.
Spoke to someone the next day and was told my complaint was given to the manager. I never heard from that manager. Iâve traveled a lot and have never been in a room that made me feel sick. Iâve never left a hotel room in the middle of the night. Do not pay for a room at this hotel.
-Talked to a cousin that described a similar experience in the past.
