Jonathan was great to work with. His home was very comfortable and so close to St. Simons and Jekkyl Islands. We loved having a big fully-equipped kitchen, large laundry room, and very comfortable beds. The little ones were thrilled with the playhouse and we appreciated the fenced-in yard!!! The main floor bathroom needs to have the peeling paint in the shower area addressed, as well as a coat of paint. The large sectionals in the living room were not very comfortable, but we appreciated that our family of 13 had a large area to all be together. We would stay here again and had a fabulous time!
The location being under 5 minutes to downtown and still a tranquil location and very spacious and has a ton of charm in all the right places. I would be glad to stay again. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable.
We were in town for our sons wedding and had pets with us. We chose this property due to the fact it was pet friendly and we had a large group of people. But once we arrived we were very pleased with the location of the property and the large bedrooms
Beautiful home in the Historic district. Dogs loved the yrad with a fence around it. Plenty of nearby parks. A amenities and bed was so comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house is spacious, full of character, and felt like a true home away from home. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was wonderfully large and well-equipped, and the wide open living room made for the perfect family movie night setup. Our family is from the South, so we especially loved the front porchâgreat for sitting outside and doing a little people-watching. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of off-street parking, and the location couldnât be better. Itâs a quick drive to St. Simonâs and Jekyll, and totally walkable to downtown Brunswick. Weâd definitely stay here again!
We spent a whole week at The 905 (Bosch Huis) and loved every minute â my wife may have even cried when it was time to leave. The location in Brunswick was perfect, just a short drive to Jekyll Island where we rented a Red Bug and cruised the island before enjoying some golf. The Victorian home was a dream come true for my wife and made our 4âyear anniversary extra special. Our toddler loved the dollhouse playground outside, proudly calling it âhis house.â We were impressed by thoughtful touches like toddlerâfriendly toilet seats that magnetically fold up when not in use. A unique favorite was the downstairs bathroom, entered through a short hallway off the bedroom, opening into a full bath with tub, shower, sink, and toilet. We also enjoyed the Peloton bike, the cold plunge (respect to those who do that regularly!), and the incredible living room with its great sound system and frameless TV. Everything was exactly as described â we knew it wasnât oceanfront and that it had a cold plunge instead of a pool, and we loved it exactly as it was. With my wifeâs family nearby, weâll definitely be back. This home is a true gem for couples, families, and anyone wanting a mix of historic charm and modern comfort.
The house is beautiful with lots of character. Would handle a large group nicely. There were some small issues -- e.g. yard not free of dog poop from previous guest, we had to track down the clean towels and locate the soap products ourselves. Not what I would expect for a 'luxury' stay for which I am paying nearly 700 a night. The owner did respond quickly to my inquiries e.g. when the coffee machine was broken, he offered to buy our coffee. When the laptop described in the listing was missing, he offered to drive one down the next day. However, despite the fact that the house itself is stately and unique, visitors need to know that the property owner's listing is inaccurate and misleading. First, there is no pool. A 'cold plunge', which is essentially a large cooler for taking an ice water dip, is not a pool. The biggest issue though is that the listing claims 'beach view' and 'beach front' -- neither of which are true. There are no beach or water views. The location of the home on the listing map is not accurate and is placed a significantly closer to the river than the house's actual location. That, and the claim of beach view, led us to believe that the property would at least have a water view. The handful of minor issues at the property itself were not huge and the owner took my feedback on those, but because of the major inaccuracies in the listing, I cannot give this higher than a two-star rating overall.
Family came for wedding,Grandkids loved the ice plunge. Old world charm, warm hospitality, Impeccable attention to detail, and so peaceful and comfortable. We didnot want to leave!
Absolutely perfect house on idyllic street! Plenty to do in area and amazing beach nearby, but the you will want to keep time free just to enjoy this beautiful house.
This property is a 'real' historic home in the historic district of Brunswick. Fabulous walking neighborhood. Very tastefully furnished with all the amenities you need. It's a quick drive to St. Simons island with multiple restaurants, a pier, lighthouse and scenic areas. Jekyll island is another close by location to visit. The property is professionally managed and it's very easy to communicate with the host. Treat yourself to this 'real' historic home. Family and friends will thank you.
We went on a spontaneous family road trip and this beautiful house in Brunswick was the PERECT spot! The house was super clean and had wonderful amenities like a large kitchen, large porch, and comfortable beds! We loved the historic home and definitely want to stay at this house again! Brunswick is such a beautiful town, we loved antique shopping in downtown and we even went to the Saturday farmers market! Such a wonderful trip! Thank you our host, Jonathan, who made wonderful recommendations, answered all of our questions, and was very accommodating!!
My siblings and I have been meeting up in Brunswick , our home town, to spend time together annually. We enjoyed out time in your beautiful Victorian home.
Our stay in your beautiful
Great house to rent. Very old school feeling. Wish we had more time to go look around Brunswick. Jonathan was a great host, easy to communicate with and took care of all our needs. Definitely recommend.
Jonathan was extremely accommodating, communicative, and hospitable to my family and me - we even had a fresh apple pie waiting for us when we arrived! The home was clean and beautiful and comfortable and perfectly located. We all had plenty of space and privacy while also having lots of good, comfortable areas to gather and hang out as a family. I highly recommend staying here or booking anything with Jonathan in general!
Jonathan was a great host! He was easily accessible via text and quick to respond to questions/ concerns.
We enjoyed the large home and the historic area of Brunswick, especially it's convenient location to town and beaches. Another luxury was the fenced yard to accommodate our pets. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in the Brunswick area.
We had an amazing stay at 905 Seaside. The house is beautiful both inside and out. It easily accommodated 7 adults and 6 children with room to spare. There are not enough wonderful words to describe the host. Jonathan was the absolute best. He was always available to answer any questions, gave suggestions for restaurants and even left some yummy baked goods for us. We will definitely return for stays in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic gem in the heart of downtown Brunswick. The beautifully decorated and well appointed home is a short walk to downtown restaurants, retail and antique shops, and parks. It is also conveniently located near big box stores (think Target) and a short drive to Georgiaâs beautiful Golden Isles We really loved the location! Our host was communicative and checked in to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout the stay. It is really nice to stay at a home that has everything you need-a full kitchen, crisp white linens and towels, cleaning products, games and even first aid! This home boasts a large kitchen and eating area with four large bedrooms, 3 of which accommodate a king sized bed. There are two living rooms, two full baths and a nice outdoor space for sitting or having a meal. There is a full laundry room as well. Our host even welcomed us with coffee and treats from a local shop, which was a special touch. We would definitely stay at this home again and look forward to returning to Brunswick and the Golden Isles area soon.
This gorgeous historic home was beautifully decorated, spacious and nestled in a charming neighborhood within minutes from the wonderful nearby beaches. The host was extremely attentive to us and our puppy, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I loved reading about the history of the house and imagining all of the memories made over the past century++ of its existence. It was a magical escape and exactly what we were looking for during our 1st (but not last) visit to the beautiful Golden Isles. I highly recommend!!! Thank you Jonathan for sharing your special home with us, the love you have put into restoring it was evident the minute we set eyes on it.
