Bath features double vanity and oversized walk-in shower. MW, DW, 2 Satellite TVs (42" and 32" Flats), and WiFi. POOL and RESTAURANT. NO PETS. NO SMOKING. ONE SET OF BED LINENS AND TOWELS PROVIDED. Located at the Villas by the Sea Resort, you will have access to the community pool, kids play area, volleyball court, fitness center and boardwalk to the beach behind the Rockerfeller Building. Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.


Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Villas by the Sea South end crossover behind Rockefellar and Stanton buildings.

Bright and cheerful

Enjoyed staying here with my spouse and teen. Just the right size for us. Loved staying at the quiet north end of island in walking distance to Horton Pond and Driftwood Beach. Great sunrise views and ocean view. Cozy beds! Beautiful renovated bathroom. Very clean, pleasantly decorated. Kitchen well equipped and supplied with paper goods, hand soap. Nice pool. Restaurant in the complex. Coin-op laundry in another building well maintained. Note the beach access at this complex is only at low tide. BYO cooking oil, salt & spices, etc, as the host does not stock these.

Well decorated and maintained clean property

Comfortable, walking distance to Driftwood Beach, good for sunrise viewing. Only downsides are that the beach has eroded away from this north end of the island, so you can't really use the beach in front of the unit. Also, it would have been nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit, but there is a shared laundry in a nearby building

Great location!

We were thrilled to see that our VRBO was literally right next to Driftwood Beach. My photographer husband had great sunrise and sunset opportunities! The villa was very clean, came fully equipped for all our needs and loved sitting on our patio looking out at the ocean.

Peaceful getaway

Jekkyl Island was very relaxing! This property was remodeled and in a great location. We enjoyed walking a short distance to Driftwood Beach and biking to the Jekkyl Island Club and various restaurants. Can’t beat having the boardwalk outside your door. Beautiful sunrises from the master bedroom without having to get out of bed. Driftwood Bistro restaurant on the villa property was delicious and a quick walk. A great property.

Short trip to ride bikes

Great place! Great location. Would recommend Ruby’s Retreat. The one downside is that the only bathroom is up stairs. Ugh! Jekyll Island is beautiful and the bike trails are phenomenal. We took a trolley to hear the history of Jekyll Island and that was fun!

EXCELLENT CONDO ON BEACH

The condo was very spacious. Directly on the beach for access to the ocean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The swimming pool was huge and very enjoyable. The grounds were exquisite. Everything was great at Ruby's. Can't wait to come back again in the future. We loved being able to bring our fur baby with us!

Love this place!

This is a great condo with terrific views of the ocean from both floors. As a former VRBO host/owner for several years, I really appreciated the special touches that personalized our experience for the week we spent here. The interior of this unit is very nicely renovated, and the Villas complex is doing a good job of updating its exterior and facilities. We've been going to Jekyll for 20 years, and this unit is now our go-to place.

First Fam Vaca with the Pup!

Great spot to stay with the beach access right outside the front door! It will be even better when the beach bridge is built. We wanted a place that was dog friendly so we could bring our dog- and he fell in love with the island. We will definitely look to stay here again when we visit in the future.

Perfect little getaway

Great location! Can walk out back door along the sand for a short stroll to Driftwood Beach or go the other way and walk down stairs over rocks to get to what our kids called “the secret beach”. Very clean and just right for small family of 4. Kitchen is a little small and only one bathroom upstairs is a little inconvenient, but hey, you can see the ocean and sunrise from the living room or your bedroom!

Beautiful!

We visit Jekyll every single year at least once like clockwork. Our young family of four had our best time on Jekyll yet. We were frequent hotel stayers before however after this stay this year we couldn’t have been more comfortable. This property offered everything and then some. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
