But disappointed with my stay

Got woken up a lot from hotel noises and even a drinks lorry delivery to the hotel at 6am with a lot of banging. Bed wasn’t particularly comfy either which is a shame. I didn’t enjoy being at the front of the hotel with so much noise and the toilet also had plumbing that gurgled and woke me. Would potentially stay again as it’s so convenient to seeing friends but feel a bit disappointed with my stay!

This used to be a lovely hotel BUT - (1) has been a building site for the last 12 months, with dust and mess throughout the hotel, and no sign of progress or any information for guests; (2) the breakfast service was terrible, with no tables cleared of dirty plates and no staff in sight.

Pretty hotel room but there were a couple of things I didn’t like. The smudges on the desk and the fact that the smudges came off when I started cleaning… I don’t feel the room was cleaned as well as it should have been. Generally, I sanitize any room I stay in. Though, I am usually sanitizing a spotless room. This hotel might also have plumbing issues. The smell of the bathroom filled the room, it was pretty unpleasant. The property just needs some upgrades. I have to say, the staff is wonderful. We only spent one night but they were extremely hospitable. Also, I had the best little croissants and cappuccino at breakfast time!

Lovely staff, hotel a bit run down.

The hotel was ok, it was not 5 star. The pictures show a swimming pool but there was not one. The sauna was a bit dirty. The staff made up for it though.
