The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are spacious, the carpets are plush and clean, the bathroom was large, the beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff were welcoming and spoke a variety of languages fluently. The bartender, Folios, gave us lots of suggestions for food and places to go. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is located directly across the street from the Brussels Midi station, which is very convenient. However, the area where the hotel is located is very dirty and unsafe at night. We never had any issues with being accosted or harassed, and did notice a strong police presence in the train station, which was comforting. We only traveled around the area between 8am-7pm. We didn't feel comfortable traveling later than that. We have always had good experiences staying at Radisson properties, so it's a shame that such a nice hotel is stuck in a lousy area.

No laundry, but hotel was fine

Hotel was nice, I only booked this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities, but it did not which was very disappointing, so for that reason I wouldn’t stay again, but our stay was good, rooms were nice.

So close to Brussels Midi (South) train station, but entrance is a little hard to find. Room was spacious, bed comfy, but sadly AC was very effective 75 F temps)

Due to renovations the reception is difficult to find and the only access is through a large group of smokers. This was extremely difficult when carrying luggage. The receptuon staff are not permanently on duty. We had to wait to collect our keys whilst the receptionist finished a meal break. We had already completed the check in on line.

Not what i was expecting

Nothing like the photo, the courtyard was scruffy and unkempt. There was refurbishment in progress so there was no foyer, social area or bar. The dining room was like a school canteen. On the plus side the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good and the rooms also good. It is extremely convenient for the station and the metro into the grand place, however as usual the area around is extremely scruffy with several homeless beggars.

The desk staff was excellent, as well as, the breakfast buffet. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but they were not too intrusive. Overall, we liked our stay and the convinience of having a major transportation station across the street.

Very convenient location to the station and receptionist of the hotel was friendly and helpful when I had to change rooms due to broken electrics. The hotel is currently under renovation so the bar is self-service and there was no evening restuarant. The surrounding area has fast food options. But I wouldn't feel too safe wandering the area after dark.

Needed a place close to the station at the last minute. Arrived late on Saturday night. Area isn't much fun at that time of day. Hotel wasn't the easiest to find and seems to have been only recently opened. Lots of hand-written signs for 'Reception' and not a lot of signage outside. Once in though it was perfectly nice US style hotel. Big rooms, very clean, basically brand new all round. Didn't stay for breakfast, although it looked good. I'm sure it will grow into it's space and I'm grateful it was there and available when needed. Certainly recommended for an overnight when an early train is due.
