The rooms, bathrooms and hallways are super outdated. The place just needs to be deep cleaned and shampooed; it truly smells old and dusty. Carpets need to be ripped out and the floors just re-done altogether. While it’s a fine hotel for a couple of nights, it’s certainly not the luxury place they market it as. Best thing about my room and my stay, overall, was the beautiful view of the Danube River and the Parliament from my balcony.

Clean and acceptable - convenient - diner at the bar was not good - waiter was more interested in his girlfriend then customer service and food was mediocre. Lucky 2 good cafes around the corner ( 2nd one best) and behind was a converted monastery that had a beyond excellent restaurant you need to try The hotel was in a excellent location

Very well situated hotel, close to Castle Hill. Short walk to bus stops, across the road for the tram. Lovely view of the parliament building on the other bank of the Danube. Clean & modern hotel, good bar area with attentive & helpful staff.

This hotel is so nice!! literally what I expected the Parliament view from the room priceless. The bar downstairs with the city view as well. I would definably stay here over and over

Great location right by the Danube and with the view on the Buda Castle on one side and the Parliament on the other. Parking is a bit irritating as you always need an attendant to let you in and out, which can take a while. Other irritating thing is that it doesn't seem like they want to let you charge anything to the room and are asked to pay for everything on the spot... We had breakfast at the hotel on one morning and were asked to pay on the spot, not possible to charge it to the room for whatever reason. Got the same request for parking charges, although that ended up being OK to be charged to the room and paid at check out. Who knows...

Property is beautiful, artfully designed. Guest rooms could use a refurbishing but very clean and spacious with amazing views on both the front and back side of building. The staff is wonderful! Lavish breakfast buffet with healthy options available. You can walk to a lot of major attractions of both Buda and Pest.

We had a perfect couple of days at the hotel.The room was large, very comfortable and had every amenity.The staff were incredibly accommodating and understanding, spending a lot of time explaining about the areas to visit and assisting with queries. The hotel location is perfect, right on the Danube.Our room was on the top floor, and we looked out across the river to the Parliament. Deserves the five stars we've given.

What a saga this stay was!!! The staff was very unfriendly; the hospitality and customer service was the worst we've ever experienced. We've purchased TWO of their more expensive and, what was supposed to be, nicer rooms. They turned out to be extremely dirty. The carpets were filthy, the walls were dirty, all written on, the floors were dirty. The only positive thing that we could say, was that the linens on the bed were clean and ironed. The air conditioning was very poor and malfunctioning (while the weather was hot and humid). The windows and curtains were dirty and full of dust. We informed the reception of the rooms condition immediately after arriving and they sent the cleaners the second day - so they cleaned the carpet. They offered us another room to move into which was equally dirty (food dried on the carpets, incredible dirty...). The reception mentioned that they were aware about the poor condition of the rooms (!!!) as they were receiving complaints from the hotel guests. They also indicated that they’ve been having also problems with their management. But why was that our problem?!? They've never offered a discount for their poor services. Park Plaza Hotel in Budapest made our stay at their hotel very unpleasant. Will be glad to share pictures of our poor experience at this hotel. Never again!

Beautiful view of the Danube River and the Parliament Building. The Chain Bridge, St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Buda Palace are all within walking distance. Spacious room that is quiet. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Very nice breakfast with many options is available.

The property was clean. The room was very clean. Housekeeping staff catered your needs.Overall good hotel that has great facilities. The hotel felt like being in 5 star hotel, but it’s a 4 star.
