Such a dreamy escape

Loved everything about this petit hotel; the cool vintage furniture and pieces in the room and restaurant, the spaciousness of the room, the morning croissants, the area and the staff❤️!!. Dined at two amazing restaurants within walking distance; Ramazuri and Marischka. After a long weekend here the world truly feels like a better place.

We did enjoy our stay. Comfortable bed, good lighting in the room. AC that worked well. The hotel is well served by local bus but away from the central city. It was a shame we were unable to order a glass of wine at 20.45 on our return. Told everything closed despite about 3 members of staff present.

Great boutique hotel in the Buda castle district. It is in an isolated area from all the tourist traffic but 5 minutes walking from all the action in the area. I would recommend taking the breakfast option. Also, we had lunch once at the hotel restaurant and it was a perfect change from Hungarian food. If you can, ask to stay in room 33 - quite original layout and decoration and super spacious. The staff (Daniel at reception in particular) was very friendly. From the Baltazar it will take a 15 min cab ride to Pest on the other side of the Danube river. Highly recommend the Baltazar boutique hotel!
