Very helpful and warm people

I traveled solo for 3 nights and to be honest it was a lovely stay given it was super budget hotel. The staff is always so welcoming and warm. They treat guests so well and always smiling. I was given a choice of a bigger room without any extra costs and it was amazing with a balcony. Bed was slightly not so cosy as we have in the UK but nothing uncomfortable. For solo traveler or budget couple its perfect. Breakfast buffet is basic but does the job. I would definitely stay again if travelling to Budapest again. Recommended. :) Cheers

Nice Breakfast and nice staff in breakfast room. Apart from that unfortunately not much good to say,firstly hotel advertises parking,this is limited basis and with a height limit,our shower was leaking water into the hallway,but biggest problems has been the bites,we (3) all came away with bite marks to our arms legs and torso.

Nice hotel

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a solo trip, did the job fine and great budget price. On the Buda side of the river so ideal for fisherman’s bastion, and still completely walkable to Margaret island and Pest. The breakfast could maybe have been a bit improved but other than that no complaints

Unfortunately the good sleep wasn't possible regarding different noises and for a few guests. I have found different hairs on my pillow which was the first "surprise' during my stay. So, I left the place after 4hours sleep. Absolutely bad experience for me.

Good little hotel, great location, slightly dated

The property is in a prime location, on the West (Buda) side of Budapest in a nice, safe area, the room was nice and warm and check-in was available past 10 pm. The only downside is the bed is incredibly noisy as you sit on it, so maybe an upgrade here would be good. Also, in my room the water comes out hot when you turn the tap to the right, not the left, so despite the red/blue marking on the shower, warm water comes out the right, and you have to give it a minute for the water to turn warm. I embarassed myself by calling reception to comment about this, so maybe putting a little sign in the hotel rooms to let guests know the right side is warm, and to give it a minute, would be helpful. For the price I was satisified with this property, and would consider returning if in Budapest again.

Comfy little hotel withing walking distance of some of the attactions of the old town. The family-run atmosphere was very friendly. Food was good too.

The hotel was clean, well located to get anywhere in the city and had a wonderfully responsive staff. There is a hill to climb each day when touring, but it provides an opportunity to further one’s physical fitness.

Not suitable if travelling w small kids

The staff were excellent and the location is great, if you are looking somewhere quiet within easy reach of most tourist sites. I had 2 issues with the hotel however: 1. Lifts: the lift on my floor opened to a small landing and I needed to climb a few steps in order to get to the rooms. This won't be an issue for most travellers, but not ideal, when you're pushing a child in a buggy, or if you're wheelchair bound/elderly. 2. I had access to 2 balconies from the room, which I usually would be thrilled about, however there was no way to lock the doors leading to them. This is a major flaw for anyone travelling with small kids. As I only stayed 2 nights and my child was already asleep when I discovered this, I decided to stay in the room and used some of the furniture to block the doors. Other than these issues I was happy with my stay overall.
