17 Welch Street Elliott Heads

This lovely pet friendly home is situated in peaceful Elliott Heads only a short stroll to Elliott Heads Beach. Fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you need to cook up a storm for the family. If the kids aren't at the beach there's plenty of board games to keep them busy while you relax on the front deck with a glass of wine. Free WiFi and Netflix is also a winner for the whole family. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a TV which is also connected to Netflix. The second bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with a bookshelf full of books for the kids. Ceiling fans throughout with air conditioning in the main living area to keep cool in the summer months. Elliott Heads beach has a new kiosk to enjoy fish and chips by the sea, there is a 2km bike/walking path along the headlands and plenty of places to fish from the rocks or in the river.

Pet Friendly! This property has a fully enclosed yard to allow your pet to join you on vacation, please ensure you pick up after you pet, a maximum of 2 dogs allowed, pets are strictly outside only and if any signs of pet hair on furniture will incur additional charges.

Elliot heads cottage

The cottage was cool and comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing. We explored the area well and truly but I guess there is even mort to discover. Maybe we will return and check out more of the area. We enjoyed Netflix at night Thank you. Laurie and Sandra

Poor pick up of keys

The property itself was great. The only drawback was because we were travelling from the south we had to drive to Bargara to pick up the keys and then when we left we had to drive another 18km to return the keys in Bargara before heading home. This could be avoided with an onsite lockbox. Also not told of this arrangement when booking the property.

Beautiful Elliot Heads

This property was way above my expectations. It was a beautiful little cottage, very stylish in decor and a gorgeous kitchen....wish I had one as good at home. We had our pup with us and he was safe and secure both front and back garden. It was excellent....

Welch St, Elliot Heads

It was a well presented open plan house. 2 bedrooms. 1 with queen bed and the other with 2 sets of bunks. It was dog friendly which is why we specifically chose this place. Close to the beach and the house was so well stocked with everything you would need. It was lovely.

Perfect beach house

We based ourselves here and explored a different beach everyday. It was very comfortable and spacious for us a family of four. Quiet, easy to walk down to the esplanade. We loved it and will be back

The location at Elliott Heads was beautiful. The house was tidy but dirty. The windows were so dirty that it was difficult to see out. There was a pile of gecko faeces on the shelf in the kitchen. There were ants coming through the wall in the bathroom. Stains on the cushions, rug and carpet. A dirty foot print on the bedding of the top bunk. The doona cover in the main bedroom was covered in long dark hairs and pubic hairs. The real estate agent came out immediately to inspect after I complained on day 1, took away the doona cover and refunded $100. After spending a week at the property, on the last day, to ensure we had not left anything behind, I found a sex toy under the main bed from a previous guest 🤢. The check in/out process that requires a 20 minute drive to the real estate agent is inconvenient when in the opposite direction of travel. I do not expect this review to be published publicly, it is merely to provide honest feedback to enable improvements. Considering that we paid almost $2000 for 1 week accommodation in a 2 bedroom cottage, the overall experience was poor. Which is unfortunate and disappointing because the location of Elliott Heads was spectacular.

Beachside Holiday

The owners of this recently renovated property appeared to add many personnel touches to ensure this was a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. Beautiful beaches just a short walk away in this very safe area. Netflix and air-con provided an escape in this hot part of the day. Thank you for a lovely stay!
