This property has everything you will ever need. They have thought of everything. It was perfect for our family vacation. It is clean, and beautiful. Adequate space in the bedrooms. Kitchen had spices, pots and pans, crockpot, keurig, everything you would need. They provided snacks for my family. It is a beautiful home. The deck was so nice to sit out on, and the gates at entrances provided peace of mind for keeping our fur babies and grandbaby out of trouble.

I travel often and stay in a lot of bnbs, and I can honestly say this was the best experience I’ve ever had! All thanks to Karen! She’s hands down the most thoughtful, attentive, and thorough host I’ve encountered.When we arrived, she had goodies laid out for everyone in our group (even the puppy)! Her welcome binder was packed with recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area!I’d recommend this host to anyone visiting the area. If we’re ever back at Lake Barkley, we’ll absolutely stay here again.

We had an amazing time staying at this VR during our group trip to Turkey Bay for some side-by-side riding! The property had everything we could possibly need—seriously, every amenity was thought of. The kitchen was fully stocked, the space was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of room inside and out.What really made it stand out was the outdoor area—it was perfect for our evening gatherings and gave us lots of space to relax after a long day on the trails. The host’s communication was top-notch too—responsive, helpful, and friendly from start to finish.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, and well-equipped place near Turkey Bay. We’ll definitely be back!

Family Wedding Weekend Getaway

This was our 1st time using VRBO to book a property for a family vacation. My mom is VERY particular. This blew her out of the absolute water. The drive up was a bit nerve wrecking for her as she isn’t used to being in the back woods without service. The property was inviting and easy to access. The games, grill, and outside space were my party’s favorite amenities. The hosts were amazing and have everything you can think of for a cozy lake getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

Favorite vrbo so far!

We loved everything about this house. It was more spacious than the pictures made it look and had very comfortable furniture. We cooked several meals there and the kitchen was so well-stocked that we only had to buy the "special" items. All the basics were already there along with any utensils, dishware, and small appliances we needed. The home was filled with quality items, not just random thrift-store finds that we've experienced with other homes. We were also surprised with a bottle of wine and some other goodies upon our arrival. We did have one small, unavoidable issue with the home that the homeowner was quick to take care of for us. She was also very helpful with offering suggestions about the area and making sure we could create great memories there. If we decide to return to the area, I would definitely try to see if this same house is available again. It is such a pretty location!

Perfect getaway location

We had a wonderful stay the hoat was very attentive and stayed in communication all weekend. They left us snacks and sulrise for our pet as well. They had everything you could need and more. I wish all hosts were this great.

Home away from home

The property is very well kept up, super clean, everything was just as the pictures showed. I absolutely love this place. It is quiet but not too far from people. If you’re looking for a place to decompress and relax this is definitely the place. My teenage kids even had fun. We’ll definitely want to stay again!!

A Great Escape

Three friends and I rented this amazing property for a little escape. The property, inside and out, was lovely. It was nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, there were extra blankets/throws, the kitchen was sufficiently stocked with various utensils plus dish soap, and there were logs in the fire pit with a nice stack of extra wood nearby. Plenty of extras like a bottle of wine, mini shower gel, shampoo & conditioner in each bathroom, complimentary snacks, a very nice thank you note from the owners, as well as a text from the owners touching base and ensuring us we could reach out with any issues or questions. Be aware that you’ll be traveling some fairly isolated roads to get the house. We arrived well after dark and were very grateful my GPS did not fail us! We were very sorry we couldn’t stay a few more days.

Lazy Lake Cabin lives up to the listing! and then some.

This is a spectacular property. The owners were so attentive – and very welcoming of our fur baby
 they even left her a present! The cabin is roomy, well – stocked. We didn’t have time to take advantage of even half of its amenities
 we never got around to playing pool, or taking out the kayaks, or sitting in the hammocks or even hanging out much on the roomy porch (indoor or out). My little family just needed a quiet place to relax, and not be on top of each other – far away from regular life. And this did the trick! It was so quiet
 I forget how quiet it can be and we just live in a little city. We are not fishermen, but I assume that a group of 4-8 fishermen would LOVE this place. The deco is very cute. The beds were comfy. The bathrooms are great. The location is easy to find. House instructions are clear, very easy to find and understand. Cell service might be spotty (as predicted by the listing) but the Wi-Fi is just fine. And spotty cell service is an advantage when you want to get away! The only thing we could have wished for was a little sun
but that is not in anyone’s control. I LOVE the wrap-around porch. The swinging gates are brilliant. We occasionally let our pup go out there to look around and I felt so secure. Maybe I need to build these into our own home. We would definitely come back. Great property/Great owners.

Amazing Get-Away!

This booking was everything we could’ve wanted and more! Communication with Steve and Karen was top-notch and they have thought of everything when it comes to this property! There was a lovely note, a bottle of wine, bottles of water, and lots of welcome snacks for us and even toys and treats for our dog, Molly! We loved having cozy meals in the kitchen and definitely put the pool table to good use. The kids loved the table-top foosball and air hockey games and we all enjoyed smores over the fire! It was so nice to have wood (and everything you needed, really) readily available! I would highly recommend!!! Thanks again for everything, Steve & Karen! You have a beautiful place!!

The host was so accommodating and welcoming. Felt like a 5 star resort . Snacks, bottle water and a bottle of wine waiting for us .
