Just OK.

Nice rooms but sloppy housekeeping and one restaurant and bar was closed for the week we were there. No movies available in house at the time due to tech issues. Good location but try one of the other Crystalbrook hotels for a better experience.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful service, great location

I was very impressed with this hotel. Rooms were beautiful and modern, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, right in the main area of cairns so tour pickups were easy

The hotel was great. It was a little tough getting our a/c working for us as it said the room was “unoccupied” on the control so would not cool. We had to ask the desk to adjust it twice. Had to do a 2nd request for bed sheet change (due to sweaty nights) after we asked in the morning when we left and came back to not done. It the hotel was upgraded and very nice and would stay there and recommend it to others

A beautiful hotel, on atge beautiful Cairns Esplanade. Very convenient location for walking, restaurants, bars. Lovely swimming pool, here and on the Esplanade! Very modern hotel!

Good breakfast, friendly staff. The hotel was very nice but there were a few maintenance issues in the room. The toilet holder was not fixed horizontally and the toilet roll kept on falling off. Then the protection of the light switch by the bed had fallen off, and the blue light was really disturbing in the night. I also got a letter of apology that the TV was not working. For the price of the hotel, I felt there were just too many issues with the room. I could extend my check out by 1 hour because my flight was later in the afternoon.

The taste could be better too. 😒 They left a bottle of wine out of the fridge, and we thought it was complimentary but then they told us we had to pay for it if we wanted it

An exceptional place with friendly staff who know exactly what they’re doing. As I checked out, I had to correct myself from “I’d like to check-out” to, “I guess I have to check out” - this property is really quite something. The lowest tier room I stayed in was still exceptionally designed with great amenities, a well-crafted (but slightly leaky on the floor!) shower room, and the internal lighting was wonderfully ambient and flexible depending on the mood for the day. The Dough Egberts coffee machine and pods were high-quality, the bed turnaround service was immaculate, and the letters to let us know when there were technical glitches were a great personal touch. My only suggestion would be to have a bit more of an induction when you arrive. I learnt only of the “bit at the back” by accident - the iPads in each room had information about some of the amenities in the place but didn’t mention the pool, the cute outside seating, and so on. But I will be coming back to stay at another Crystalbrook property the next time I’m in Australia for either work or pleasure.
