The Space:

Nestled along Trinity Beach Esplanade, this one-of-a-kind coastal retreat blends innovation, history, and coastal charm for a memorable getaway. Built in the late 1970s using the pioneering Bini Shell system, the dome showcases an innovative construction method used for eco-friendly homes around the world.



The open-plan living area has been thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the dome’s creative shape, creating a comfortable place to unwind after a day by the water. Air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi help ensure a relaxed stay, whether you're catching up on work, planning local adventures, or simply enjoying a quiet evening indoors. Large windows bring in natural light while maintaining a sense of privacy and comfort.



The compact kitchen provides everything needed for easy holiday dining, with practical cooking essentials for preparing meals at home. Step outside to the private courtyard, where a shaded outdoor dining setting for four invites alfresco meals in the tropical air. Nearby, the shared octagonal swimming pool sits amongst lush gardens, offering a peaceful place to cool off and unwind.



The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed dressed in crisp linen, creating a restful retreat at the end of each day. The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and essential amenities for added convenience. A shared coin-operated laundry is located on-site, making it easy to take care of holiday washing ($2 coins required).



A window air conditioning unit and ceiling fan help keep the space comfortable throughout your stay. On-site garage parking and free street parking are available.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire dome to yourselves, along with shared access to the swimming pool and laundry facilities. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

Trinity Beach offers a relaxed coastal atmosphere with palm-lined shores, beachfront cafés, and casual dining all within easy walking distance. Getting Around:

A car is highly recommended, but public transport is easily accessible if you are happy to allow for extra travel time. Pick ups by most of the tour operations can also be arranged.

Amenities

We provide a generous amount of amenities as a "start up" for your stay. These include shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dishwasher & laundry sheets, toilet paper, tissues, salt/pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee & sugar. If your stay is longer than a few days, you will need to top up to suit your needs.



Linen/Towels

Our linen is hotel quality and professionally cleaned. Each guest is provided 1 bath towel and 1 pool towel. Additionally, we have bath mats, hand towels, and face washers. Please be sure to register the correct number of guests to ensure our linen provision suits your needs.



Bag Storage

Bag storage before or after your stay is available at Stasher Luggage (next to The Jack Hotel), 52 Spence Str, Cairns.
