found that for the majority of the trips we paid for, the hotel "in the wrong part of Cairo", and everyone charged extra on top of the trip fee. we had a load of the Egyptian money left when we got to the airport, and the wife was hoping to spend it at the duty free. unfortunately, the duty-free shops in the airport refuse to take Egyptian money. even the money exchanges wouldnt take either.
