Schöne Villa mit einer grĂŒnen Aussicht

Wir waren in der Villa mit 3 Familien. Vom Platz kein Problem. Wir hĂ€tten uns nur einen grĂ¶ĂŸeren Tisch gewĂŒnscht, der vorhandene reicht nicht wirklich. Sonst ist das Haus schon etwas Ă€lter und das sieht man vor allem an den Möbeln, trotzen war das alles noch in Ordnung. Der Pool war super und wurde regelmĂ€ĂŸig sauber gemacht, top. Das mit dem MĂŒllsystem hat nicht wirklich funktioniert, es wurde nie nach Plan abgeholt. DafĂŒr kann aber der Vermieter nicht, genauso wenig fĂŒr die Wildschweine, die regelmĂ€ĂŸige die MĂŒlltonnen durchwĂŒhlt haben. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub, man konnte sogar am Horizont das Meer sehen. Bei dem ganzen muss natĂŒrlich Preis und Leistung beachtet werden und das war sehr gut. Vielen Dank

It is true the place needs some work , our en-suite shower was inoperative as the shower tray needs repair The kettle needs changing , the surge can trip the electricity . Heel ruime gezellige authentieke Spaanse villa waar alles aanwezig was. Rustige omgeving, groot zwembad, ruimte genoeg om tot rust te kijken, of het nu in de zon of in de schaduw was. Wel jammer dat er maar Ă©Ă©n huissleutel aanwezig was en niet meer buitendeuren konden gesloten worden.

Poor management and maintenance

Starting with the positives: Fantastic location, with beautiful views, and a lovely looking villa and well heated pool. Unfortunately our stay was severely marred by poor maintenance and management. 1. Checkin/out: We were given no instructions on how to find the keybox. We called the agency who gave us the wrong info. Eventually we found it but it was missing the gate key so we still could not get in - we had to wait for the agent to bring the right keys up. On checkout, we were told to take the keys to the agency office, which was closed for a public holiday. There was no labelled drop box and no-one would answer the phone numbers provided. We had to return to the villa to put the keys into the keybox, making us late for our flight. 2. Electrics: The first day, we lost power. The agency could not help and thus we had no power until the next afternoon after electricians came and replaced half of the boiler. We lost all our chilled/frozen food + half a day of holiday having to stay in. The power went again the next day when simply using the toaster! There were exposed electrics both on the balcony and in the upstairs twin bedroom closet. 3. Pool: The pool was full of sunken leaves and surface scum. It clearly had not be cleaned for weeks. The agency did not know when it was last cleaned and could only say it 'should' be cleaned the next day. I spent an hour cleaning it myself with a broken net as the pool cleaner did not turn up for another couple of days. 4. Facilities: No satellite TV as advertised in the lounge (no satellite box or appropriate cables). TV downstairs didn't turn on. No bath plug so no baths. Smells from the upstairs plumbing. We have raised all of this with both the host and the agency used by the host (Quality Estates in Calonge). Whilst the agency did resolve the power outage as quick as they could, they weren't apologetic and ignored / dismissed the other complaints above. Out of courtesy, I messaged the host prior to writing this review, but disappointingly had no response. We have now raised a complaint with Vrbo too, although I suspect there is little they can do. We paid over ÂŁ1,600 for a week in this villa. We were offered no reimbursements for our issues. If you get lucky, you'll have a great stay. If not, you'll be very disappointed. It's a lot of money to be taking that kind of risk and, sadly, we will not be doing so again.

Großes Haus, toller Garten mit Pool

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus (viele Kleinigkeiten; Elektronik allgemein, GlĂŒhbirnen, alte ElektrogerĂ€te, sehr viel ZurĂŒckgelassenes von Vorbesitzern). Sehr ruhige Lage, fĂŒr uns etwas zu weit weg von der Stadt, ohne Auto kaum Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen, da es ca. 10 min mit dem Auto waren. Die Ankunft konnte von uns nicht otpimal getimed werden, daher fand kaum persönliche Kommunikation mit der Agentur statt, es gab fast ausschließlich Kontakt per Mail. Leider kam auch im weiteren Verlauf niemand vorbei, um uns Willkommen zu heißen. Das hĂ€tte ich mir gewĂŒnscht. So war es am Ankunftstag lediglich eine SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe, keine Einweisung. Gerade mit Blick auf das (scheinbar neue und umstĂ€ndliche) MĂŒllsystem, leider ein No-Go. Die etwas veraltete Elektronik des Objekts fĂŒhrte zu mehreren AusfĂ€llen von Klimaanlage oder Licht, weshalb immer wieder Techniker vorbeikamen. Schwierig mit einem Hund, der auf unangekĂŒndigte Besucher mit Bellen reagiert. Die AusfĂ€lle wurden aber nach Benachrichtigung immer schnell und fachmĂ€nnisch behoben. Es sollte dringend ein neuer Staubsauger angeschafft werden, der alte ist von ca. 1975 und saugt nicht mehr wirklich gut. Bei 6 Personen plus Hund wird das nach 2 Wochen etwas schwierig (vor allem Hundehaare), wenn man nicht richtig sauber machen kann. Manche der Liegen im Außenbereich sollten ebenfalls ersetzt werden, da sie kaputt sind. Die großen FlĂŒgeltĂŒren vom Wohnbereich in den Außenbereich waren leider bei einem heftigen Regenschauer undicht, sollte auch behoben werden. Super waren Waschmaschine und Trockner. Ich will hier nichts schlechtreden, es waren eben summiert kleinere Sachen, die fĂŒr den Preis nicht sein dĂŒrften. Wir hatten dennoch einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub im Haus, haben TagesausflĂŒge in umliegende StĂ€dte gemacht und die Sonne am Pool genossen. Der Pool ist wirklich perfekt (auch die Treppe, die hineinfĂŒhrt, ist perfekt fĂŒr kleine Kinder)

Lovely villa with everything you need for a group holiday

We spent a lovely two weeks in this villa with our family. It was clean, spacious, and very well taken care of (garden and pool). You definitely need a car to get to the beach or city centre.
