A private beach is featured. There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge.
An outdoor pool, a library, and a garden are also featured at Silver Sands Sunshine. An airport shuttle (available 24 hours) is available for a fee. Free self parking is available.
So far as hotels in the area go Silver Sands Sunshine is perfectly nice and value for money. Most of the tourism in the area is geared for older Brits and there are a lot of return visitors. There dont seem to be so many clubs etc for younger people but there is plenty of good live entertainment (the hotels was good) and karaoke if thats your thing. Food in the area was typical for what we've found throughout India which is simply, stick to local Indian food and keep it vegetarian. Western dishes and meat dishes were invariably disappointing including at this hotel.
Alcohol is expensive here; cheaper than Mumbai but about 50% more expensive than southern Goa. Similar maybe slightly less than in the UK. Take a kettle if you want tea/coffee in your room.
Talking to repeat visitors we learned that the bathrooms were all refurbished. They were clean and better than a lot that we saw. The rooms at the front could use a net curtain as that level is directly opposite a bar so we had the curtains closed most of the time. Noise wise, India is noisy. Candolim is no exception but it wasn't so bad as it was quite early in the season when we were there.
The beaches were pretty clean - especially compared with streets and towns in general which are horrifying in terms of litter - and we could see people collecting plastic etc to sell for recycling. The beach huts are good. We walked a bit further to get to Doms which was a little bit quieter but worth the effort.
Good location. Walkable distance to Candolim beach
Overall good experience for our 3 days stay. Hotel staff helped us find a local transport to roam around Goa. We got a bike which was cost effective and used our mobile maps in guiding ourselves around Goa which was fun. Our Superior Room was neat and they kept it clean. Swimming Pool was available but we did not use the same. AC remote was not working in the room, however I used the buttons available in AC itself to adjust the temperature and got it running.
Nice hotel close to the beach and centre of village. Courteous and helpful staff. Rooms cleaned everyday and new towels every day. Food in hotel good and reasonably priced.
A very nice stay.
The rooms are large with good bed. The poll was clean and restaurant had a decent menu. The breakfast was basic(toast, cereals, eggs, tea/coffee), but we can order from the menu.
We stayed there for 8 days in off season. It was very close to the beach, just a 2 min walk. They don't have parking space on the property, but there's a public parking space at a walking distance. They helped us rent bike, car. The entire staff was very efficient and friendly.
We'd booked the superior room, and luckily they gave us the one next to the pool. I have to say, the superior room is quite spacious, which was great as we needed some space for our 5-year-old boy. We also loved the pool, a bit small, but good for the off-season, as there weren't as many people.
Room service was great, the food was excellent. Good options in their complementary breakfast. The location is also quite good. Candolim beach is 2 min walking distance. Calangute & Baga are easily accessible with a bike. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We may return to this property in the future.
2 mins to Candolim beach, friendly and very helpful staff, clean and the food is outstanding,,,,,
Stayed for 2 weeks to top up the tan, unwind and enjoy the odd curry or three and it ticked every box,
To add,
If you like the fiery kick in a curry try the Goan vindaloo,,, amazing,
Thanks to all in making our stay enjoyable,
This is a fantastic place to stay and it is very close to the beach. The rooms are large and spacious and there is also a nice swimming pool. The Angara restaurant too serves exquisite food.
The hotel is in good location, only 5 min to the beach. However it is a very busy street, so ot does get noisy at night. There are lots of restaurants and bars around. The rooms are big, but are outdated. The sercice is a let down, as the reception is run by kids, who do not know how to run a hotel.

great location and restaurant
The hotel was good but had to climb 2 floors no elevators. Washroom was not as I has expected it to be. but on the whole it was good was happy with staff. The location was good 5 mins to the beach. The owner was friendly. AC was not working they fixed it immediately. I would recommend it to anyone who is not fussy. I would go back there again.
The hotel is exactly as picture. The open concept restaurant was pleasing and very romantic at night, and the food served was delicious. The room was big and comfortable to walk around and had a balcony. Very well equipped with A/C, ceiling fan, TV, internet and fridge. Don't have a person on the pool to take your order, so you need to go to the restaurant first and place it before heading to the pool. My only complain about it is that the bed were two twin beds place together with very bad sprint mattresses, making it hard to sleep since you need to choose which side of the bed to sleep but never in the middle. When ask for a full bed the front desk staff told me that all rooms were the same, and just the room next to mine had a full queen bed.
Great small hotel well located on Beach road so close to beach & lots of good restaurants & shops. Staff very friendly & good service. Attached restaurant Angaara good too.
Average room, but good for Goa. Great AC in the unit so you are never hot even though it is 35+ outside. As it is in most places in India, wi-if is often not working or really slow.
The stay was good the front office staff were very cooperative & also helped me with an early check in , however the breakfast was not at all good with just an option of poori / poha , bread toast & omelette with a canned juice , the hotel must provide a buffet breakfast instead of service on the table as the waiters were lethargic! The rooms were spacious & the house keeping staff cleaned the room with efficiency, pool was small but it's ok , over all a good hotel except the waiters every thing was good
I have stayed in this sister concern earlier also but in the cottages (silver sands beach resort). This stay was a great value for money as the hotel offerred great discount due to off season. The food prices were on a high side, so did not order anything from the restaurant. I am quite familiar with the area & aware of the many options of restaurants closeby. Staff was cooperative.
The rooms were great and had balcony too. The washrooms could have been a little well maintained.
Overall the stay was nice.
Their complimentary breakfast was also good and had choices for both vegeterians and non vegeterians.
The room was spacious and three people can easily fit in.
Pleasant & helpful staff. Good hotel location......not in a busy area nor a quiet one. Small but adequate pool. Excellent restaurant & bar. In India basic is what you get (& pay for). If you can accept that & not whinge about it being below our normal comfort rating then you will enjoy your stay there.
