It was so-so.

Cons: No free Internet
A swimming pool was a miss. You will have to go outside to get there. Old and cold.

A comfortable place to stay

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Friendly & helpful staff. Beds with adjustable firmness for each side of the bed was amusing to me, but could be very useful to those with back problems or can't find the right firmness in most hotels. My only complaint is that there hot tub was not hot enough. I'm not even a fan of really hot hot tubs, but there tub was tepid. Otherwise a fabulous place!

Awesome Stay - Great Location!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, great location
We booked this hotel for a mini weekend getaway during our trip in Alberta. We really liked the location of the hotel as it is right off the highway but still close enough to walk to the main street. The room was really nice and we also tried the pool and the hot tub which helped wind down after a day out on the town. We had breakfast in the morning and the food was really good and the service too. All in all we had an awesome stay!

Returned late from our meeting, looking for a nightcap and the lounge was closed before 10pm.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for the Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre. We are so glad to see you enjoyed your stay with us overall! In Canmore it is quite common for Restaurants to close as early as 10:00PM. However our Front Desk team would have been more than happy in assisting you in finding a near by alternative. We are lucky to have Sensory Wit And Bar directly across the road from us who serve late everyday. In future please stop by and see our team so we can direct you to near by alternatives to our own restaurant. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Kind Regards, Chantelle Front Desk Supervisor

This room was the smallest of our trip - but the NICEST! Everything seemed extremely clean and modern. Slight smell of smoke in the non smoking room. But, probably from someone standing outside. Best sleep of the trip.

Nice hotel in Canmore

Location: Outside of the downtown area where the restaurants are located - long walk, but easy to drive and park. Canmore is a less hectic place compared to Ban
Pleasant stay - used a home base for exploring areas around Canmore and Banff. Appreciate the eco efforts of the hotel to reduce water usage. Enjoyed their pool and hot tub after spending the day hiking about.

Nice Hotel

Hotel is very clean and modern. The "Sleep Number" beds are amazing and VERY comfortable. Price is a bit high for what you get, but then again is reasonable in this area of Alberta. Originally booked in for one night, however at 11 p.m. on the first night, we decided to stay another night, and contacted the front desk immediately to arrange this. At around 12 noon the next day, I was relaxing and watching t.v. while my significant other was doing her hair, and suddenly a lady (hotel staff member) entered the room without warning (the "do not disturb" sign was on the door), came in and looked at us, then left without a word. I opened the door and watched her go across the hall and use the phone. The next minute I received a call from a front desk clerk stating "we are wondering if you are planning on leaving anytime soon". I stated that we had already arranged to stay another night, at which point the clerk stated that "the hotel was not aware of this". That night, I spoke to the front desk clerk who had taken my call the night prior, and she confirmed that she in fact remember us calling, and that she had entered our request into the system at that time. As compensation, the hotel bought us breakfast the next morning. The hotel kept their guarantee that "If you are not satisfied with something, please let us know and we will make it right, or you won't pay". Overall a good stay.
