This was our third time at The Lady MacDonald Inn. The first 2 stays were really good. This time, when we arrived 20 minutes before the check in time, the front door was locked. We tried calling the number they have posted on the door and got the voice mail, finally we tried calling the number on Google. If they knew guests were going to check in why was the front door locked? Then not even an apology, the front desk lady looked annoyed. Secondly our bed this time was really uncomfortable, the mattress was bent at the center, so we didn't have a good sleep. I love the hotel location, but may try a different place next time.

Staying at Lady Mcdonald is like going back to grandmas house . Quite , smells delicious , very comfortable and clean . This is a great place to relax with a cup of tea . Grooovy hot tub , saunna ... a must stay . Always a treat

This is a cozy little property. The rooms were super clean and the bed was huge. The fireplace was a nice touch and a homemade breakfast offered first thing in the morning. We absolutely will be back

Beautiful property with an authentic English BnB feel. Roof top hottub with strong jets and a wonderful view. Comfortable beds, great food, lovely hosts.

The room was very clean, our welcome to the Inn was good. The property is showing signs of aging and with a few small improvements it could regain a 5 star rating for us. The leather stool needs to go into the garbage, the lights should all be one temperature, the TV and stand look like they were plunked in "a place for now". The bathroom shows signs of needing some upgrades. The Inn has a great location the price was very reasonable, but someone needs to pay attention to the many small things that will keep ti worth coming back to.

Overall, the Lady MacDonald is a nice location to stay at. Comfortable rooms, nice hot tub, great breakfast. Some of the wellness offerings are a bit out there for my taste (clairvoyance readings), but otherwise a pleasant stay.
