The location of this hotel in Cannon Beach is its only redeeming quality. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed indifferent to both our arrival and our departure, offering no sense of welcome or hospitality. The hot tub situation was particularly frustrating—although it is advertised as an 8-person hot tub, if someone else is using it, apparently no one else can. There’s no system in place to notify guests when it becomes available, which is unlike anything we’ve experienced in our travels. Overall, the lack of service and amenities made for a disappointing stay, and we would not choose this property again despite its prime spot near the beach.
