The host was easy to communicate with however several amenities were broken - only one pool cue, pool table in bad shape, master toilet flusher missing, master toilet paper holder broken, master bath broken, coffee pot broken, etc. All small stuff but added up
VRBO says the house has 4 bath tubs or showers but it’s truly one 3 full baths and one half bath.

Grand property marred by maintenance issues

This property has a lot going for it: location, spacious, fully appointed kitchen, games for the kids and comfortable beds. Very sad that the realty management company failed at so many opportunities for customer service. Prior to arrival I received a phone call from a rep, stating I could call her any time with issues and she would be my contact. From the day of arrival, however, she informed me she was "off", and we were passed to 3 other reps, who were not able to solve the issues. The night we arrived, we wasted 7 hours trying to turn on one TV. We finally figured out on our own that all the remotes were mixed up from room to room.The plumbing in the first floor (brand new water heater) was not fixed until our last day there. Their installers set the temp to tepid and the hot/cold cartridges were crossed. They fixed the torn lanai screen and two door handles that were broken off three days in. Nice to have games like ping pong, but no balls. Fire table would have been a nice touch with the colder weather, but it was broken. The pool was serviced, but the kids continued having symptoms so I took a sample to the pool store and the chemicals were all high. Also, there was so little salt in the saltwater pool, it was not making chlorine. This property could have been A, with a property managment company that communicated. How their team missed so many issues before we even arrived is unblievable, but once notified, they were easy fixes.

Promising
 But fell short

The property location is excellent. The house was beautiful inside and down. However, there was a significant delay in being able to enter the property as the key code panel was no longer there, and there was no access to the lock box hanging on the door. The property manager directed us to go to the screened in pool area inside. The second day we were there, The upstairs smoke alarm was going off for no reason and while someone was using the shower upstairs, We found that there was a water leak coming from light fixture in the kitchen. Maintenance advised us that we could no longer use that shower for the remainder of the trip. There is a beautiful jet tub in the master bathroom that we could not use for the first three days because there was no stopper. Master bedroom has no TV. The fixtures in the master bathroom were coming out of the wall and one of the window shades by the shower fell off. One of the armchairs in the kitchen collapsed as someone sit down. If you the chairs have loose arms. Lastly, wild the house came with a ping-pong table and foosball table, there were no balls to play with. The property manager was amazing and maintained communication from the start. The house was nice, but the price paid, should’ve been better maintained.

Great Place

Check-in was seamless and the neighbors are really nice/not snoopy. I would like to commend the communication of property manager-- they were phenomenal. The few problems we had, she was able to address immediately. Definitely would rent again.

Nice house horrible management

Until this homeowner changes management companies, steer clear. Roelen’s is the company that manages this property and from the moment we got there there were issues. They gave us incorrect instructions to enter the property. Then we find out there are no kayaks as described. No ping pong balls, foos balls, lights burned out, remotes not working, pool lights not working, fridge lights out tile fell from second floor, wood floor loose and other issue. When we called we would not get call backs. Then someone would stop by when we were out and drop off the wrong thing. Poor poor communication and constantly blaming issues on the hurricane that happened 14 months prior. Just over all ruined the experience and potentially nice place. The pool was warm and nice. Kitchen well stocked. Some nice amenities. Just don’t expect good, clear communication or solutions to your issues.
