Nancy is the only one we met and she is the best. She was so friendly, kind and accommodating. She was happy and a joy to meet and talk to. The room was very clean. The parlor is beautiful. The rooms and entire place is warm. The food was delicious. The amenities of tea, coffee and cookies were perfect. Can’t ask for a better place. Great location and easy free parking as well. We had a great time with a stay. PS. My only wish was a curtain or shower door,

The property is in a great location that is walkable to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The off street parking is a big plus!

We have stayed at other Victorian B and B’s so we pretty much know what to expect. It was a little musty but not terrible. I did not realize until later that I had picked a room that had to accessed from a steep narrow staircase, so perhaps that should be more clearly stated. Our smoke alarm battery went dead and started beeping so we had to climb on the bed to dismantle it. We returned it and the staff was very apologetic, however they never replaced it. We just let it go. On the positive side, the staff was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, cooked to order and there was plenty of ice and glassware available. The bathroom was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. We liked having a ceiling fan as well. The front porch was a very nice place to relax and enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. In relation to other B and B’s it was nicely priced

The room that was offered to us was the size of an attic, you can only fit a queen size bed in there and a couple of chairs and cabinets, which were ancient. You can't even stand up straight in the room or the bathroom because the celiling was so low and I almost hit my head going to the bathroom at night.

Angela July 18,2025 Hats off to The Dormer House! I love the Victorian Era. Nancy gave a warm greeting and checked on all guests. All staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay comfortable. The breakfasts were homemade and absolutely delicious every morning (I could count on the delicious coffee as well!). Cleanliness, central location to the beach and shopping, and convenient parking are all a plus. I will definitely return to The Dormer House. Stayed 4 nights in July 2025
