Room was incredibly small, carpets dirty, woodwork damaged, bathroom beading in shower black and mouldy, sink blocked and wooden trim under sink laminate all splitting very very disappointing quality. Most important problem was door did not lock and you had to pull it tight every day, despite asking twice it was never fixed. Positive though the staff very friendly and good location if you want to be central capetown.

The hotel was comfortable and they were very kind to allow us to make an early check in. Breakfast was great and the location is fine. But after dinner, I recommend to come with a Uber. The only point that it was not good is some noise at night from some nearby bars and early in the morning of people coming to work in the street market.

Nice location. Close to shops, laundry, food options. Excellent staff - helpful, polite and on to it. The hotel is not new but has its own personality. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not clean at all - I’m guessing it may be better for summer. The room we were in had very poor internet. The bar was nice. The best part was the in-house tour company called Azoul Tours - very honest, on time and trustworthy drivers. The manager Yousef is mainly onsite.
