Fantastic Property!

I have rented condos on Sanibel/Captiva for 5 years in a row now and Captiva Shores 6A is my favorite. It’s not as big as those in Sunset Captiva but bigger isn’t always better. The condition of the condo was great, nothing needed to be repaired while we were there, and no issues with bugs or ants. Location was fantastic, the beach was about a 2 minute walk away with no steps to maneuver the beach gear and crossing the road wasn’t a problem at all. Usually we drive to Captiva so I’m able to bring all our beach stuff but this time we flew so I was a little worried about the beach gear that would be provided. We even bought chairs at Publix before arriving but nothing to worry about! Great chairs, large umbrella and a huge cart to carry everything in. The only thing that was missing I would’ve liked to have were a couple of rods to go fishing off the pier on the property. Nothing negative to comment on but there were a few hiccups. The lockbox sticks, so it was difficult to open to get our keys on arrival. Property Manager was very responsive and friendly though and was on his way to help when I finally got the box to open. Booklet in the condo also mentioned a BBQ but there aren’t any on the property. There was one in the shared garage but it was on the “other” side so we assumed it belonged to the other condo unit. As I said just minor hiccups. WiFi was great and of course the shells were amazing as usual. Much clearer water than down in Sanibel. Also way less people than on Sanibel beaches and even less than Sunset Captiva. We were thinking about booking the upper condo next year (6B) but the beach gear was so good I’ll probably just rebook 6A. Overall a great property and definitely plan to stay next year.

Nice Small Condo

Very nice and clean property. Beach is across the street and heated pool was steps from the front door. Very close to the Captiva amenities like stores and restaurants.

Loved the apartment! The heated pool was great as was the viiew of the ocean.

We searched a long time to find the perfect apartment. All of our expectations were met. Exceptionally clean too. Nice to have 3 TV’s for those rainy days too. The short walk to the beach was easy and short. We really enjoyed our week and would rent again

Very nice condo. Clean and well kept. Although we had to cross the road to access the beach it wasn’t bad at all. Nice pool area. Recommend letting guests know that beach chairs are available. We bought some JIC, but returned on the way to the airport. Would stay here again.

Was as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and sunset view.

We arrived on weekend and were not given code to garage or told where to park so blocked in a property owner. Moved our car while still in PJs. Property managers only available during business hours. Otherwise, all was great!
