Great for gatherings and family reunions. Can be combined with our 3 bedroom sister property on a separate adjacent Lot, 200 yards away. VRBO # 3168327

Large Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room open floor plan overlooking Mount Sopris with plenty of natural light. This cozy common area has a 16 person dining table, 5 island bar stools, fireplace and sectional sofa. Property is located in a lodging tax oasis and has the lowest Lodging Tax rate in all of the Roaring Fork Valley, Compare and Save!

The kitchen is well-equipped with a wide range of cookware and small appliances. Stove, microwave, 2 refrigerators, dishes, cutlery, 14 cup coffee maker, keurig coffee machine, coffee grinder, 4 slice toaster, blender, mini cuisinart processor/mixer, crockpot, grilling utensils, griddle, 18 quart oven roaster and spice rack.

Large Master Suite with fireplace and walk out to yard. It has 1 King and 2 bunk beds off of the master. This is a great floor plan if you have small children and like them close. 3 bedrooms with 1 queen bed, and 1 bedroom with 3 person bunk bed (twin top full bottom).

65" LED Smart TV comes with Fubo TV subscription and recording of your favorite shows, Apple TV and WiFi.

This 8-acre property is peaceful and private with superb views and walking trails. It is perfect for guests who enjoy the Aspen Valley area and want a retreat. We often see wildlife including deer, elk, chipmunks, rabbits are many types of birds. The House is open and light, with awesome views of from Aspen to Glenwood. Enjoy the scenery from the deck in the summer or through the many windows with views during the winter.

In the summer, Fly Fish the famous Gold Medal Frying Pan, Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. Golf, Hiking, Rafting, Horse Back riding, and Mountain Biking are some of the Valley’s abundant summer time activities.

A winter paradise. FIVE mountains all within 30-40 minutes of the house – Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Sunlight. Rentals available in Carbondale, Basalt and Glenwood Springs.

Carbondale is a hub of fabulous restaurants, shopping, art and theatre. There is also dining and shopping in nearby Basalt and Glenwood Springs.

There is another building/garage on the property however it is not available for rent or use by tenants.

It was the perfect opportunity to get away from the sounds of the city and find a quiet place to relax. The location was GREAT away from traffic and other noise, and still close enough to find a great restaurant in Basalt or Carbondale or go to the pool in Glenwood Springs. we had a wide range in ages so even the high school kid had fun at the pool and caverns while the rest of us read, relaxed and shopped. The kitchen was perfect for a group of wanna be cooks, plenty of room and great selection of spices and misc. items that never make the trip.

This is an amazing property, the house is beautiful and fully equipped with amenities. The view is breathtaking that it looks like a painting. This property definitely elevated our experience in Colorado during our vacations and we can't wait to come back soon!

Our family stayed here for 5 days. Each adult family had their own bedroom. The property was clean and well maintained.

The house is about 10 minutes from Carbondale where we enjoyed the 4th of July parade. The maroon Bells near Aspen were great fun and we saw the now famous Bull Moose (2 of them) near the falls just up from Maroon Lake. Of course the pool at Glenwood Springs was a hit for the entire family. We also did a jeep trip from Marble to Crystal and the Mill on Crystal River was really fun to visit.

We enjoyed the kitchen at the house and ate all of our meals there. The pictures are accurate, although thy do not do it justice to the incredible view of Mt. Sopris.

I can't adequately express how beautiful this property is. I read this in many reviews but find myself saying the same thing: pictures do not do it justice. We were there in mid-October. The weather was gorgeous and the fall colors were spectacular. The drive up and down the canyon was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The house was perfect for what we needed. We had 6 adults and 8 children, ages 7 down to 6 months, and it was the ideal size for us. The hosts have thought of everything and the house is so well equipped. Instructions are crystal clear too, which we appreciated. The gathering spaces were spacious and we spent so much time outside. It is a dream for kids this age! Exploring outside, going on hikes, eating meals on the most amazing deck, fire in the fire pit, movie night, etc. Our kids had an absolute blast and my 6 year old cried when it was time to come home because she loved the house so much. I can't rave enough about Lynne and Erich. They arranged a phone call with me prior to the trip to answer any and all questions, they accommodated a different check out time and check in time based on our train schedule, and they checked in on us often. Some of the best communication I've experienced from hosts. I can't sing enough praises. What a dream trip this was and I want to go back next year and the next! (Note: I was required to rate the skiing, and we didn't ski, but I gave that 5 stars too because it was a 5 start experience all around!)

The main room and kitchen were spectacular for viewing the valley, Mt. Sopris, wandering deer and outside deck. The awning had several positions so we could be outside in sunny conditions or could be lowered for a wind. We fed a crew of 11 people all our meals there. Hot tub was clean though a little slick getting in and out. Elk bugling was spectacular!

Gorgeous property - fabulous stay! The area offers a lot of fun activities - paddleboarding at Ruedi Reservoir, the Carbondale Farmer's Market and Rodeo, many cute restaurants and hiking. The stargazing at night was unreal. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay!! The home is very nice and clean. The views and the quietness were our favorite things about this property. We also enjoyed eating on the deck off from the kitchen The owner was good to check in on us and offer help with anything we needed. Unbelievable views, lovely outdoor dining, beautifully equipped kitchen, plenty of linens/towels and excellent communication with the owners.Bedroom configuration is a bit awkward because so many people share 1 downstairs bathroom and some pass thru master to reach it.Also, this “air conditioned” home has one wall unit in the LR. Bedrooms have fans.

This is the place to stay! It has an amazing view and felt private.The house is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, ect. for a large group. It has a heavy duty wash/ dryer and a spare fridge in the basement. Made it a lot easier to keep our large group fed. Our kids loved playing in the yard and the hosts even brought over some extra toys for them.Has a wonderful hot tub with a great view.The space is comfortable and well furnished.Hosts were very friendly and responsive. You can tell they've put a lot of thought and care into the house. We'll probably make it our annual family retreat!

Family vacation and a wedding!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The location and proximity to several little towns was perfect for us. It’s just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make you feel like you’re secluded but also close enough to gas stations, restaurants and shopping if you need anything. We had 10 family members stay here for the whole trip and also hosted 10 others for a total of 20 for dinner one evening. This was the perfect spot for that. The views are spectacular and the accommodations were perfect. We even had a deer visit us in the backyard.The host family was so easy to work with and I can’t say enough positive things about them. If we were ever staying in that area again I would definitely stay again.

50th Anniversary Golden Stay

The view of Mount Sopris was absolutely gorgeous. The home was so spacious so that even with 11 of us it never felt cramped. We all enjoyed having the large table to seat all of us both inside and out. The children particularly enjoyed the yard spaces with the outside games, the creek and the hot tub. It truly felt like home and very comfortable. The home is located in a great location away from it all but also close to amenities. We are so glad that we chose this home a year ago and are were sad to leave.

Truly - a little slice of heaven - as one sign in the kitchen says. Communication right from the beginning was excellent. We asked many house and area questions - always a helpful and prompt response!The views are truly amazing. The house fit our 12 adults well. Thank you for sharing your home with us !

45TH ANNIVERSARY FAMILY VACATION

It was great, this house was better than we thought it would be. The drive up the mountain and back down was so cool. The view was a 10, to sit on the deck every day and look out was breath taking. Anything we needed, they had, from the fully stocked kitchen, (minus food - LOL) extra fridge, towels grill, firewood, i could go on & on. The hot tub was so nice, to come home after a full day of activities and just be able to sit and enjoy the mountain air was really nice. And the host couple, Eric & Lynn they were great any question we had they were right there with a quick response.
