Leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind, and surround yourself with serene meadows, bubbling hot springs, and firefly-filled nights when you book your stay at this Redstone escape for four. Spend your days fishing and kayaking, and your nights star gazing and unwinding.

Set three miles north from the heart of Redstone and 13 miles south of Carbondale, you'll be close to dining and local attractions while being nestled in the beauty of Mother Nature. Be sure to stock up on groceries and fuel in Carbondale on your way to the property. During the winter months, we recommend using a vehicle with 4x4 to access the home safely.

The beauty of this property caught the eye of Disney and hosted sites seen in the movie 'Tall Tales,' and this home is perfect for travelers looking for a small slice of a peaceful paradise. Featuring a classic cabin ambiance, you'll have all the basics that you need for a relaxing stay.

Step out on the deck with an ice-cold brew or two and take in the tree-lined views. Snap a few pictures, then connect to the WiFi to send them to your friends back home. Throw a steak and a few veggies on the gas BBQ to grill up a delicious meal, or head inside to put the cozy kitchenette to use. Featuring a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker (no stove/oven or dishwasher), you'll have the essentials to whip up a tasty dish.

After dinner, revel in the natural warmth of the shared hot springs just a few steps away from your cabin. This cabin, along with the few others on this property, have the use of two tiled tubs along the river that are filled with natural hot spring water. Sip a cocktail on the deck and watch the fireflies come out to dance with the stars.

As the day winds down and it's time to turn in, this single-bedroom, one-bathroom home can sleep up to four people. In the bedroom, you'll find a queen bed and plenty of storage, while in the main living area there is a fold-out futon for more sleeping options.

Outdoor enthusiasts will adore being so close to nature. Preserving the environment is so important in the area not even dead trees are allowed to be moved to ensure the ecosystem and wildlife remain as unaffected by humans as possible. Grab your fishing gear or your kayak and head to the private stretch of the Crystal River. Paddle along the banks, or head over to the Filoha Meadows Open Space that is just across the river from this property. Open to the public from July through September, you'll be able to observe elk, deer, and an abundance of wildlife. Spend the day at The Roaring Fork Conservancy for one of their nature-inspired walks or teaching sessions. During the winter months, you'll be able to explore the area while you delve into some backcountry and Nordic skiing.

Stay stress-free in the embrace of wildflowers and bubbling hot spring when you plan your escape to this Colorado getaway.

The Cabins at Filoha Meadows are comprised of four cabins, including this one and Three Sisters Peak Cabin and Mt. Sopris Cabin.

A healing retreat in the mountains next to Crystal River
My son and I enjoyed staying next to the Crystal River and beautiful mountains, and soaking in the hot springs! Our accommodations were clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The manager was caring and very helpful. We will definitely be returning to this sweet mountain retreat!

Location, Location, Location!
The only negative thing that I could possibly say about the place is that the sleeping accommodations were not the best. It was me and my two adult children, so we had to bring a blow up mattress and futons are never comfortable! Other than that, the location was AMAZING!

Beautiful cabin on river
We have traveled many times to CO. This was our favorite stay ever! The cabin is perfect. Everything was clean and new and nice but we hardly spent anytime inside because the outside area was unreal. The view from the deck was gorgeous we had drinks and played cards and enjoyed nature. Hands down the best part of this place is the private hot spring hot tub literally on the river! It is shared with other cabins but there are two tubs and we never saw anyone else there. If you like to fish bring a pole the river is right there and perfect to walk up and down and fly fish. We will definitely be going back and staying longer. Only negative was we tried to extend but they were already booked lol! Highly recommend!

Far from the madding crowd
Close to Carbondale and far from Aspen. Yet close to aspens and trails that get even closer. Among their white trunks on the Huntsman Ridge trail are pines decorated with the yellow aspen leaves. Upon return from the steep steep trail sore legs are salved by the 109 degree hot water by the rushing Crystal River. Across the river one sees the forbidden Fiola Meadows and maroon hills, far from the bells. A pine marten visits the cabin deck but Mike says watch out for sharp claws and teeth.

Great Location
Mike is the man! Our place wasn't ready/cleaned when we showed up but Mike did everything he could to make sure we were taken care of and got housekeeping there asap. The location is the reason you go anyway. Don't expect some fancy accommodations, this is pretty humble. But private hot springs and endless views is why we were there. Could have lived on that deck.

Enjoyed our stay
We loved our stay. I knew there wouldn't be cell coverage because of a different review, but I wish I'd known wifi was limited. We were able to check email and search online etc., but were asked not to stream movies. We had been planning to stream church, so that part was disappointing. But the area was beautiful, and the accommodations lovely.

Beautiful property
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot spring pools were wonderful after a long day of hiking. Mike was very helpful and provided information about the area whenever we asked. The only thing that kept this cabin from being perfect was the bed. The mattress was not good and sagged in the middle.
