The hotel requires money spending on it, information needs to be provided on restaurants opening and closing times. Restaurant closed at 7:45pm even though a green king chain. Sign of the times as reception not manned but a number is provided for you to call.

Good but a little dated
The hotel is looking a little dated and the rooms could do with a paint. However the staff a really friendly and very helpful. The pub attached to the hotel was good.

Great Staff - Tired Premises - Food Disappointing
Can I start by saying the female staff are amazing, we had a warm welcome from Anna on reception and that continued during our 3 night stay, Lynne who served us breakfast was also fantastic. The rooms and restaurant could door with updating and during our stay there were problems in the kitchen, so the food was not really any good, long waits for food and one night they even forgot my order. Wine Wednesday "offer" also not good as you only had a choice of Rose'. This said, I would stay here again, but that's more down to the welcome we received from Anna & Lynne.
