Excellent location short walk to the beach. Safe neighborhood, studio is very clean, comfortable king size bed, kitchen has everything needed along with washer snd dryer. Our hosts, Ed and Jill are very kind and friendly.

This was an incredible place to stay. It had everything I needed, it was incredibly close to the beach, and it was a great way to enjoy Southern California. The hosts are wonderful people and made it that much more enjoyable. I am hoping to come back in the future!

Great Access

Place was clean well stocked with whatever you would need to go to beach, stay in and cook. they only draw back was the TV would not load any channels! Had my son who is very savvy at thus and he could not figure it out! Over all it was a great place would definitely stay again!

Nice studio apartment close to the beach. The only problem was on days it was warm, the apartment was very warm late into the night. There is no air conditioning and you can’t really keep the windows open because of the frequent train whistle early in the morning especially.

Vacation and unexpected delay with Crowd Strike

Property is clean, convenient and easy to access off the freeway Property owner was easy to get ahold of as we had Crowd Strike hit and our flights were cancelled and we were stranded additional days. Would recommend.

Cozy, cute, sun dappled and lovely. We truly enjoyed our stay. My partner had some issues with the train tracks being so close at night but a few ear plugs and she was fine. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely space.

Disruptive stalky hosts!

Stayed here 1 month, Ed and Jill were rude and not nice, to me, I’m a single gal, they watch the tiny old unit and anyone in it like HALKS , they call a FEW times a week to include Sunday’s in Emergency or Urgent style for no real reason, just to bug , yet they don’t respond to your concerns, they did an EMERGENCY ENTRANCE , to the unit , no real ER , I was told not to use the heat, although it was a storm all month and freezing , Ed is a heavy drinker, Jill never came to say HI, but called to harass all month!! , they have a broken lock leaving your stuff open for theft, they are surrounded by apartment buildings, there is rust on everything to include Kitchen stuff, the MOLD is awful, you an smell it, dangerous wood steps to get in unit, when they are wet, it’s like a death trap, they get upset if you pay to park in driveway , they even asked me to park on street, there are 4 — yes 4 ways for them to enter, and every once in awhile drunk ED pops out of one of them, with so many places to stay, avoid these people and their bull! The unit itself is small and old , at least 15 min drive to village and they hold your security for 2 full weeks

Convenient location

The setup is great for two. Loved having our morning coffee on the private front deck. As others mentioned, the Coaster train horn is very loud and frequent on weeknights, so bring your noise-cancelling headphones. It was a nice walk to Carlsbad Village using the trail, to grab lunch or dinner.
