Bluebird cottage is clean, comfortable, well-appointed and moderately priced compared to properties in the "big city" of McMinnville. Perfect for our needs.
We loved this sweet property. Very comfortable, linens were excellent and kitchen well equipped with a nice outdoor set of couches/chairs for afternoon chillaxing (and in the shade!). We will absolutely repeat staying here both for comfort and access to the fantastic restaurants and small town Carlton scene, including all being very dog friendly. So grateful this rental is now available!
We loved the cottage. The home was very comfortable, and the welcome kit and card for the pup were great. The location was awesome, and we walked into town on multiple occasions. Also, great water pressure in the shower was a major positive! Loved the local soap. There were a few things we wanted to share as feedback to help improve the stay for future guests:1. The pillows in the bedrooms were inconsistent. My wife and I stayed in the bedroom closest to the main living area and didn't find those pillows comfortable at all. They were very firm and thick, and we struggled to get a good night's sleep. However, the pillows in the other bedroom were much more comfortable, so we swapped pillows after the second couple left, and it was much better during the second night. Softer pillows for the win!2. The garbage drawer in the kitchen doesn't stay closed once the bin begins to fill up. Once it gets heavier, it will not stay closed and will open up on its own. Not a big deal, but we had to keep an eye on the dog to make sure he didn't get into the trash.3. The A/C unit kept the house very cool, but the cold air did not make its way into the bedrooms, and they were very warm, even with the ceiling fans running. The windows in the bedrooms didn't stay open on their own, so it just made the bedrooms a bit uncomfortable throughout the night.
