Room was in great condition. Front desk wasn’t the best- the short Hispanic girl in front wouldn’t honor my free room upgrade and just giggled when I asked her when I asked about room upgrades as a platinum member. She said it’s whenever they have room, mind you I was there off season on a Sunday and the parking lot was empty. Expect more from a five star property to be honest.

We stayed here for two nights with our family of four, including our four-year-old with special needs and a newborn, and overall we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Lorena at the front desk was incredibly helpful, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. When we noticed that our original room had a very strong cleaner smell, we spoke with Manager Jessica, who was absolutely amazing. She was prompt, accommodating, and quickly arranged for us to be moved to a new room. She even went the extra mile by bringing our family a thoughtful gift, which was such a kind and personal touch. Throughout our stay, staff regularly checked in with us via text message and phone calls to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. Housekeeping was also excellent—very prompt and attentive. Each day they made sure we had everything we needed, from fresh towels and coffee to keeping the room spotless. Anytime we called for something, they were quick to respond and deliver. The rooms and the hotel itself are beautiful. The room was very well stocked with thoughtful amenities, including great-tasting coffee, a fully stocked bathroom with wonderful-smelling shampoo, body wash, and lotion, plus toothbrushes, toothpaste, a hair dryer, plush towels, comfortable robes, and hotel slippers. The room was quiet and felt like a premium stay. The restaurants on the property had many food options and food was delicious. The staff was extremely accommodating and the lodge has many perks in itself.

Overall we really liked The Quail. The staff were extremely welcoming and warm, restaurant for breakfast was great, pool and public areas are attractive and well maintained - and loved the Christmas decoration. We felt the room, whilst comfortable and a good size, was a little austere - the combination of very high, light coloured walls (lots of empty space) with wood flooring felt a little cold (particularly the view from bed). The bathroom was dated, but a good size with bath and walk-in shower. For us personally some room / bathroom updates would bring the hotel up to five stars.
