Welcome to this warm and inviting townhome, featuring 3 bedrooms, 3 outdoor balconies, and dynamic loft space—perfect for a comfortable stay. The home’s wood-paneled walls, high ceilings, and expansive windows frame serene forest views, while charming mountain decor and cozy furnishings create a relaxing atmosphere. The bright, open-concept living area on the main floor includes a cozy living room with a gas fire and a 50” Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen with updated appliances, and a 9-person dining table. Step outside onto the balcony to enjoy tranquil forest views, or gather indoors where natural light floods the space. A full bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo is conveniently located near the kitchen.



On the ground floor, the master suite offers a king-size bed, a large closet, a 42” Smart TV, and a private balcony. The second bedroom features a queen bed, a 36” TV, and another private balcony, ideal for morning coffee in the fresh mountain air. The third bedroom includes a queen bed, closet, a chair, and a 20" TV. A shared full bathroom with a double-sink vanity and walk-in shower is also available on the ground floor near the bedrooms. Additionally, a spacious loft on the third floor offers a great space for sharing with 2 twin beds AND 2 trundle beds, perfect for groups needing more space to spread out. Rounding out the home is a full-size stacked washer and dryer in the hallway closet, making it easy to handle laundry needs during your stay.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home and 2 parking spots located in front of the unit. Guests will also have access to shared HOA amenities such as a heated pool, hot tub, and clubhouse.



The Neighborhood:

This inviting condo is located in the sought-after Carnelian Woods, an area surrounded by trees with a small stream nearby, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful nature and peaceful surroundings right outside your door! Within walking distance of the house, you will find an endless network of National Forest trails, perfect for walks, runs, and bike rides in the summertime. A 2-minute drive, or a short walk, will take you to Patton Beach, a dog-friendly beach that is great for swimming. Near Patton Beach, you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience; CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners; Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones; and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a few minutes' drive from the home.



In the winter months, you are only 14 minutes from Northstar, 22 minutes from Alpine Base Area at Palisades Tahoe, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center, where you will find a huge network of trails for XC skiing or snowshoeing. Those wonderful trails on the National Forest system near the home are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. If you prefer a little less physical activity, you are just a 12-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 7 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets, major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. A 10-minute drive will take you to the Nevada state line, where you will find casinos and concert venues. This home is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!



Getting Around:

Situated centrally off HWY 28 and within walking distance of 2 public transportation stops, this home allows you to comfortably get by without a vehicle. The public transportation TART stop at HWY 28 at Sierra Boat Co, just 0.5 miles from the home, will take you to locations such as Kings Beach. A second TART stop, also located 0.5 miles from the home at HWY 28 at Old P.O. Coffee Shop, offers a 17-minute bus ride to Tahoe City. You can easily connect to other locations at the Tahoe City Transit Center, where you’ll find buses to destinations like Northstar California Resort. The home is also near a Night Rider bus stop; please note that the Night Rider bus operates seasonally.



If you have a vehicle, you can enjoy the convenience of being close to HWY 28, with quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas. Tahoe City is less than a 15-minute drive away, and you are just minutes from the Nevada state line. Patton Beach is only a 2-minute drive, and Kings Beach is a 7-minute drive away. In the winter, you will be centrally located for skiing, with a 25-minute drive or less to 3 of the area's top ski resorts: Northstar, Squaw Valley, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center. Tahoe also offers Uber, Lyft, and many taxi services.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.



The pool and lap swim are closed for the season and will re-open after Memorial Day 2025, depending on snow and weather. The hot tub is currently open on weekends, with expanded hours planned for ski season. Tennis courts are available seasonally but currently lack lighting, and the lodge is open daily with hours depending on staffing, offering equipment like bocce balls, volleyballs, and an outdoor ping pong area for sign-out. Please note, there is no barbecue area available for renters.



Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.



4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.



Please note that the grill is only available in the summer months.



A Note on Shared Amenities: Please keep in mind that these spaces are operated by the HOA. Because of this, they are subject to seasonal availability—common seasonal closures may include April-May and Sept-Nov—and we can't be held responsible for unexpected closures or repairs. Excellent Stay- only one small complaint

Overall our stay at this property was excellent. The property and amenities were well advertised. We made great use of the electric grill provided and the kitchen was well stocked for a rental property. The only issue we ran into was with the main tv in the living room. The remote provided didn't work properly for it and we therefore weren't able to use the tv that was advertised to us. Perhaps that was our error, but we would have appreciated clearer instructions for that. Still, that is a small, relatively unimportant thing. And otherwise, we had zero complaints and had a lovely time at this property. We'd definitely stay there again!
