Sunrise is a 7 bedroom, 4.5 bath, pet-friendly vacation duplex in Carolina Beach. The perfect family beach vacation getaway.

This quad level vacation home is ideally located, just a short walk from the beach at access point #3, convenient to shopping, dining, the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Fort Fisher Aquarium.

The first level is comprised of two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. One bedroom having a queen bed, the other furnished with a bunk. Both rooms have TVs.

One level up is the main living area with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Also on this level is a queen bedroom and bath. This level also has a deck for socializing or unwinding after a day at the beach.

On the third level are two Master Suites each furnished with a king sized bed, and a private bath for each. Each room has a TV and DVD player. One of the master suites has its own private deck.

The sixth and seventh bedrooms are on the 4th floor. One with 2 single twin beds and the second with “tri-bunks” and a large flat screen TV. Also on this level is a convertible futon and Âœ bath.

Above the fourth level is a shared rooftop sun deck with stunning views of the ocean and most of the Wilmington Beach region of the island. From this deck you can see the sun rise and listen to the waves crashing.

Lovely family holiday

We booked this spot to try out Carolina Beach as a family meet-up point. The location was great -- close enough to the beach so it was a very short walk -- and PS the fabulous Granny's Country Kitchen was in walking distance, too -- but we were on a smaller, quieter road than the main beach road. The amount of space in the house was great. And it was nice to have our dogs welcome. For those renting, know that the yard is on the small size, so big dogs might still need walks (super dog friendly area) -- and the stairs are a lot on a daily basis, so just be prepared. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here with our 5 grown daughters, 4 son-in-law’s and 4 grandchildren. The house worked perfectly for us and we had a wonderful week!!

TLC

House is nice, may need some TLC. Appliances could use upgrade-specifically dishwasher and oven. Oven need a good cleaning. Burnt food on bottom caused smoke when using. Carpets are pretty spotty and master bedroom mattress ehh. Grill outside needs replaced and we had to replace propane tank to use. TV Downstairs didn’t seem to work- it’s unfortunate the neighbor attached to duplex. Rooftop was great and rooms nice size. Enjoyed the main TV and Pandora-nice touch.

It a clean property

Unfortunately the property was not clean at all. Couches and chairs were dirty and we had to cover them with sheets to vibe able to sit on them. Kitchen supplies were terrible. You couldn’t even cook in their pots and pans. We had to go and buy some. Very disappointing :(

Can't wait to return

The house was big enough for our family. We were able to walk to the beach, the park, disc golf and local restaurants. We were also able to bake cookies, game nights, and enough room for a sit down meal. Our Marine was married at the gazebo at fort fisher which was a 5 minute ride. Late night walks to the beach, boardwalk and pier was what we needed to reconnect as a family. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay amazing. **the only issue we had was that the ice maker wasn't dispensing the ice, was making a grinding noise. The dish washer collected water after every wash.*** That didn't stop us from having fun. Thanks again.

Our family beach vacation

The house was very nice. It also had a nice layout for our family. The beach is a few blocks away and had easy access. The house however, was not as clean as expected. The kitchen ware was not clean and 2 comforters had fresh stains. After we washed things it was fine. I do think the owner needs to invest in a broom and a better vacuum to help keep the house tidy.. The trash was over flowing when we arrived. It did get picked up 2 days after arrival but there is not enough trash cans to support the 15 people that can stay in the house. Overall our family had a great time!
