Bob makes it so easy. Simple check in, great parking situation, easy check out. We love the front and back porches, the kitchen, the comfortable beds and couch. Even during a rainy stay we had a great time.

We had an amazing time at Bob’s place. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The water pressure in the showers was amazing. It felt like a spa after a day at the beach.The location was perfect. The beach was literally a 2-minute walk, which made everything so easy, especially with a toddler. My 3-year-old, Lucas, was absolutely amazed by the house. He loved exploring, and the calm vibe made it easy for all of us to relax.Bob was a fantastic host. He was responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. Everything was well-prepared, from the clear check-in instructions to the cozy beds and well-stocked kitchen.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable beach getaway.

Lovely condo

We love the condo, it’s in great location and has everything you need to be comfortable with a family of four, and our tiny dog.The place is clean, kitchen is well equipped with all the things you need to make meals. Beds are comfortable. The whole place is well taken care of.Communication with Bob is excellent. Bob is super helpful with all the information you need to know before you make the trip. Our trip got cut short because of Chantal tropical storm. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Carolina beach Condo

We loved our stay at Bob’s condo. The 2 porches allowed us to read and relax in the shade. The condo was comfortable , clean and well stocked.The access to Freeman Park beach was lovely for easy trips to the beach. We also enjoyed the proximity to Carolina State park for long, early-morning hikes with our dog. Carolina Beach has much to offer. The aquarium is close by, plus the ferry to Southport was a fun trip.

4th July Getaway

Wonderful getaway for long holiday weekend. Short trip from Raleigh Durham. Easy access to beach, close to drivable beach access if you have 4 wheeled drive. Easy walk to Carolina Boardwalk for the teenagers. Clean condo with full amenities and a pool. Beautiful porches and view of the sound. Perfect for families.

Second stay at Bobs Island Retreat since July!

We were at Bobs Island Retreat at the end of July. We absolutely LOVED everything about the property. The condo was clean, had fantastic decor and had everthing we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our time so much that as soon as we were able to come back, we did! This week did not disappoint. We took advantage of the beach near the condo, which was a change from our stay in July as we had other family staying near the boardwalk. It was nice being close to the beach. Our host was available as he had been last time and was reasonable and accommodating and house rules were clearly stated. We are hoping to make this a regular vaction spot. Thank you so much for the use of your fabulous condo.

We enjoyed our stay at Bob’s condo. It is conveniently located a block off the beach that has a beachside restaurant/tiki bar on the pier. The condo was very clean and homey. We really enjoyed sitting on the front and back balconies. The condo had all of the supplies we needed. The condo had a clear list of check out duties. We would stay here again.
