The rooms, though nice, were tiny so one could hardly say that this was an upgrade. Being on the second floor, we could hear the noise from the reception area all night long. The breakfast was below par, with few choices. As soon as you step out of the hotel, get ready to be constantly harassed by all sorts of tour routers who never take no for an answer and follow you around. The rooftop is nice but small and never staffed, so you have to get your drinks from downstairs and take them upstairs yourself if you want to enjoy the view. We also did not receive the VIP member benefits promised on booking.

Booking: these rooms fill up fast! If your days are available, book immediately! I made the mistake of waiting and had to stay elsewhere for my first 2 days. Check-in: I arrived early (11a.m.), so I couldn't go to my room. I was allowed to leave my bags with the front desk. You can tell by the look of the lobby that this place was nice! super-clean and modern. The front desk personnel, doormen/bell hops and security were all very nice and helpful. I speak Spanish fluently, however, I think English speakers will be just fine. Room: HIgh ceilings, floor-to-ceiling & wall-to-wall windows, comfy bed, CLEAN (I can't emphasize it enough), overhead quiet AC unit, cable TV, WIFI, plenty of closet space and drawers, HOT water, nice towels, big mirror. The bathroom was spacious and sleek. EVERY ROOM HAS A VIEW Amenities: Listen to me.... This place has the best breakfast and the options rotate daily, all included with the cost of the room! Eat up! The rooftop terrace has a bar. I'm not sure the hours of the bar. You can BYOB and just enjoy the 360° views. You can look over the city (north), Playa Hollywood (west), El Laguito (south), Castillogrande (east). Spark up a stogie & sip on some aged whiskey. Be a man... or woman.... or whatever. Service: EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE WAS AWESOME! Every need was met above and beyond expectations. Restaurant recommendations were excellent. Security was tight but unnoticeable. Guest-friendly but ID's will be checked and copied.
