001 Monte Dourado - Spacious 2 Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment with Pool Views

New Bathrooms for 2020 - Updated Photos in early March 2020. Licence Number: 25958/AL Monte Dourado 1 is a spacious and well equipped two bedroom apartment on the very popular Monte Dourado complex in Carvoeiro, this apartment is ideal if you want to be a short distance from the town and beach without the noise of an apartment right in the center. This ground floor apartment with a great sized terrace is situated on one of the smaller Monte Dourado blocks which shares a pool with just 12 apartments so itÂŽs a great place to relax in the sunshine. On entrance to the apartment there is a small entrance hall leading through to a bright lounge with TV, DVD player and CD player as well as a selection of books for your enjoyment. The Wi-Fi and TV system has just been upgraded for 2019. The lounge has comfortable seating for 4 people and a dining area with table and chairs for 4, there is a wood burner available if you are renting the apartment through the winter. The lounge opens up onto the terrace area where there is a dining area with pool views and easy pool access. The Kitchen has been recently renovated and is fully equipped with everything required to prepare and serve meals. There are two bedrooms (one with double bed and one with 2 singles) and two bathrooms. The apartment has been well decorated throughout and we hope it has everything to make it like home from home, it offers a good amount of space for a two bedroom apartment so ideal for families, couples or groups of friends The terrace area looks over the pool which is a lovely spacious area with loungers and parasols and as well as the main pool it also has a separate shallow pool area ideal for young children. There is also a heated pool available in the winter months, this is just a few minutes away from the apartment. The Monte Dourado has a reception service with also tennis courts available for hire, all equipment can be hired at reception. The property is now under new management from November 2020.

Location, Location, Location

Great location for access to one of the best villages in the Algarve, Carvoeiro. Be prepared for the more than moderate walk down into town but it is well worth it. The property has been updated and we were very comfortable with everything we needed at our disposal. The property is on the ground floor with a patio overlooking the pool but not much else to view. Mini markets a very short walking distance away with a multitude of supermarket options a short drive (10 minutes at most) near Lagoa. Would definitely recommend for a longer stay.

Great apartment for a relaxing break

A great ground floor apartment, perfectly located by the pool. Sit outside having breakfast in the sun then hop onto the sun bed for nice relaxing day into the sun. The apartment is well furnished, very neat and tidy. Perfectly equipped if you wish to cook. However with its location to town, there are many great restaurants to eat in. Back from town and a great night out to a restful nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Despite it being November the apartment was perfectly warm enough, though the air conditioning would provide heating if you required it.

Excellent choice of villa

This villa is fantastic location. It’s great size and has everything you need. We realised after 9 days the cleaner had not been so reported it to the agency which is near by and away they arranged a cleaner that day. I would recommend this villa . Perfect for families.

Perfect get away home in a great location.

Clean and tidy. Everything you would need with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses. Located on the first block on Monte Dourado it is a very short walk in town with great bars, restaurant and a beautiful beach. Ideal for those who do not have or do not want to drive.

wundervoller Urlaub

Wir haben in der Wohnung einen traumhaften Urlaub genossen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Insbesondere die Waschmaschine ist super. Auf der Terrasse und am Pool kann man super sitzen und liegen. Es sind nur ein paar Minuten bis ins Zentrum. Emma und Mike waren super nett. Vielen Dank fĂŒr den tollen Urlaub.

2nd visit as good as the first...

Perfect property for a family of 4 .. Everything you need is in this property. With the added bonus of good WIFI and TV with English channels. Being ground floor with direct access to the pool area is fab. Good location, quiet and convenient. Mike and Emma are really helpful and always around and about and contactable if needed.

Lovely Apartment - Perfect for a family holiday!

The apartment is perfect for a family holiday with plenty of space for everyone. We loved that the pool was on your doorstep - great for young children. The place was fully equipped with all the amenities. Comfy beds. The location is also good, close to several beaches, supermarkets, water sports and other towns if you want to see the other parts of the Algarve. We had amazing weather for 7 days in August which was just what we needed! We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you!

Loved our stay in Monte Dourada

The apartment was perfect for our family holiday. It's in a great location, close to the town centre and all it's lovely restaurant & bars. Loved the fact it faced on to the swimming pool, good wifi and TV channels which kept our son entertained once he'd tired himself out from being in the pool. It had all we needed to make for a great holiday. Communication beforehand with Emma was great and it was lovely to be met by Emma & Mike on arrival - the welcome pack of groceries was a lovely touch and meant we didn't have to rush to the supermarket! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and we hope to return one day. Thanks!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Carvoeiro. Das Appartement war sehr großzĂŒgig und gut ausgestattet. Eine notwendige Reparatur wurde schnell erledigt. An einigen Sachen sind kleinere Reparaturen noch notwendig (Duschkopf...), dass konnte aber den positiven Gesamteindruck nicht mindern. Emma und Mike haben uns wie vereinbart empfangen und ĂŒberraschten uns mit einem gefĂŒllten KĂŒhlschrank... Danke. Die Lage war super, fusslĂ€ufig der Stadtstrand und leckere Restaurants erreichbar...
