WOW !!! Located in the most desirable community of TRILLIUM LINKS and LAKE CLUB located on Lake Glenville near CASHIERS, North Carolina. 8 minutes to Cashiers, 22 minutes to Highlands. Nearby are restaurants, brewery, awesome shops, hiking, fishing, boating, golf, long range views, horseback riding, skiing, aerial park, white water rafting, waterfalls. Home shows awesome!! 3 bedrooms (two kings, one queen) with full bath in each. Master bath has soaking tub and separate shower. Home Sleeps 8. Living room with fireplace. A separate family room with queen pullout couch is downstairs with its own outside covered patio along with coffee bar and wine/drink cooler. Smart TV's, one in each room. Internet, barbeque grill, two covered patios, two wood burning fireplaces (one inside and one on patio), washer, dryer, crib, high chair. Outside is community firepit and garden. Ample parking. We had a wonderful stay at Firefly Lodge! We loved the color of the sunrise over the mountains out the back windows, the prompt responses from John the couple times we had questions, the well-stocked kitchen (everything you could possibly need to cook and bake on vacation!), lots of game options, and the beds were very comfortable. Zero complaints! Beautiful home!

The house has a great location in the Trillium development. It has two nice covered decks. One is on the ground level and one is below. We liked the layout with the master bedroom on the ground floor and two other bedrooms downstairs (each with its own bathroom), which on this trip we did not use. The floor plan would be great for three couples or a large family. I did not want a lakefront house but there is a view of the lake. The house is not on the lake if that is what you are looking for but you can rent a boat and a slip. You can also join the Trillium club while here, which we did. This allows you to play golf at a very nice course, tennis, pickleball, etc.The development is very conveniently located. It is very close to Cashiers and an easy drive to Highlands, Brevard, Silva and other neat towns. It's about 90 minutes from Asheville which of course is a special city.John the host was great. Of all the vacation homes that we have rented, this one was the best stocked with items you would expect and items that you would not expect. The house We would definitely stay here again.

It was one of the best experiences we have had with a VRBO. They have thought of everything and truly feels like home away from home. The patio was my favorite! The cool crisp air was magical. Firefly Lodge was a most comfortable retreat for a month. The host could not have been more accommodating and the unit was stocked with everything one could imagine or want. It is nestled in the trees at the very top of the property with an open area nearby for walking.

I would give more stars if possible! A lovely home in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Very clean and lots of attention to detail to make guests comfortable. The owners were very attentive and welcoming. By far the best vacation home we have found anywhere!

Giving of Thanks in the Mountains

The property was very well appointed and description on point. The kitchen was well-stocked and the inside and outside fireplaces were ideal for our group. We had a great time enjoying some time with our children and then hosting my two brother for Thanksgiving day. A very memorable trip. Beautiful Firefly Lodge.

A lovely property situated in a very friendly area where all the neighbors could not have been more pleasant. The home borders a large green space and garden which are enjoyable to walk through and socialize with neighbors as the children play and the dogs fetch balls. The home is very clean and well furnished with details provided for everything. The living spaces are perfect for family entertaining while at the same time providing privacy. The bedrooms have great closet and drawer space. The home is extremely quiet and you don’t hear any noise from the lower bedrooms. The exterior balconys of the home provide great areas for grilling and dining or for your guests to enjoy some quiet time all with great views. The main family room and all bedrooms have a smart tv which operates very easily. In fact everything in this home works properly. Firefly Lodge gets a most definite 5 star rating from us. Anne & John

Beautiful Home

We rented several homes during a family stay. This house has a wonderful floor plan. It's upside-down. Main living area with kitchen, dining, living and master. Downstairs two bedrooms with a sitting area with coffee and TV. If you have children...they can be on their own schedule without disrupting the house. Both levels have decks with a great view . The trees are trimmed so you can see a bit of the lake and mountain view. Trillium is a wonderful area with full restaurant ...including The Landings that's close by. (Not walkable...but then again nothing is easily walkable at Trillium as it's so vertical). Would rent again.

Beautiful Lodge

Our family recently had the joy of staying at this property. The place is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and a meal on the gas grill. We were able to take in some nearby beautiful waterfalls. On the last day we were able to join our son at the Halstead House. It was an enjoyable trip and would highly recommend.

Fantastic Cashiers area home

This property was outstanding and perfect for our family. Not only was the home just as advertised, but the owners also provided many extra amenities such as a welcome basket with snacks and wine, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathrooms in the event you forgot yours and also plenty of coffee to use for the kitchen coffee pot and keurig. The location is ideal in the Trillium community and we took advantage of several amenities including golf, hiking and dining. Plus, it’s only a 10 minute drive to Cashiers and many other restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend Firefly Lodge and we ourselves may become repeat visitors.
