We rented both apartments for 11 nights in late September.Property is a very authentic old farmhouse surrounded by Chianti vineyards, tasteful interior decor. All rooms are very large, and most have gorgeous views of Tuscan countryside. Enjoyed pool, terrace and Weber grill for family dinners. Chianti bike tour from nearby Castelnuevo Bernardenga highly recommended. Do your grocery shopping in Siena, no markets around, closest small store in Pianella about 15 min drive. Loved our stay.

Lovely vacation in the Tuscan Hills

We were delighted with the location of the property, being close to Siena and other beautiful towns and villages. We also loved the feeling of remoteness and the peace and quiet . The owls at night were magical. The upper apartment Poggiarello was spacious for the 3 of us and the kitchen was well equipped, perfect for us as we like to cook. We loved the terrace where we breakfasted daily. It was perfect for watching the magical misty sunrises. We did not use the pool as we traveled around the area most days, but it looked beautiful. We would highly recommend the sculpture park nearby. Jorg responded quickly to questions during our stay. It was a fabulous holiday and we all would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely dreamy!

We loved our stay in Tuscany! The upper apartment in the villa was amazing. The views were incredible and there was plenty of space. The 3 bedrooms easily slept 6 people and we could have slept more on couches if necessary. We loved the pool and spent lots of time there. The location felt very remote and peaceful, but we were 20 minutes from Sienna (which we loved) and about an hour from Florence. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the terrace was a beautiful place to eat. Philip and Christina were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely come back!

À beautiful and pacefull place

Cette grande maison, décorée avec soin, est un lieu d’apaisement idéal pour des moments conviviaux en famille. La grandeur des pièces permet de garder une intimité pour chacun, la terrasse offre une superbe vue sur le Chianti et le jardin, bien entretenu, est très reposant. Cette belle demeure s’appréciera encore plus aux beaux jours. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles.

Mittendrin statt nur dabei

Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier richtig, inmitten der Weinberge im Chianti. Ein traumhaftes altehrwürdiges Haus, welches sich unauffällig in die schöne Landschaft einfügt und dessen Größe sich erst von innen wirklich zeigt. Unglaublich. Man kann immer zusammen sein, aber es findet auch jeder seinen Platz, um etwa in Ruhe ein Buch zu lesen. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen hier. Aufteilung und Ausstattung der Wohnung sind sehr gut und lassen praktisch keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück auf der Balkonterrasse mit Blick in die Landschaft ist einfach klasse. Der moderne Pool ist das i-Tüpfelchen, schön angelegt und nicht störend. Um Städte und Dörfer zu sehen, muss man ein bisschen Auto fahren. Aber das lohnt sich.

Traumwohnung in Traumlage

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir Gast in diesem Feriendomizil. Als Familie fühlen wir uns sehr wohl in der wunderbaren, ruhigen Umgebung inmitten der Weinberge. Die Nähe zu Siena ist perfekt, um auch Ausflüge in die Stadt zu unternehmen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Toscana wie im Bilderbuch

"Traumblick in die Toskana" war nicht zuviel versprochen. Durch die hohe Lage auf einer Hügelkuppe tatsächlich 360 Grad Bilderbuchblick; Vor allem die Morgenseite ist gandios (Sonnenaufgang). Es ist für den Städter ungewohnt ruhig, fals vollkommen still mit Ausnahme der Grillen. Man hört sogut wie keine Autos. Die Wohnung hat zwei überdurchschnittlich große Wohnräume. Alle Räume sind sehr hoch und offen zum schrägen Dach mit der ortstypsichen Untersicht aus Ziegelplatten und urtümlicher Holzkonstruktion. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll mit einigen alten Möbeln und zurückhaltend modernen Elementen. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen und das Haus auch Freunden weiterempfehlen.

Wunderbar erholsam

Unser 2. Aufenthalt im Pogiarello hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Die obere Wohnung ist wunderbar geräumig und bestens ausgestattet. Mit viel Liebe hat die Familie den Charme des alten Bauernhauses erhalten und modernisiert. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse und dem großen Flügelfenster im Wohnzimmer ist atemberaubend. Alles wieder sehr gepflegt, auch das Grundstück und der schöne Pool. Wir kommen wieder!

Maison très spacieuse, au calme, dans les vignes

Superbe ensemble de maisons à partager avec 4 autres familles. Nous étions dans l'appartement supérieur, très spacieux. Finalement peu de contact avec les autres familles, l'ensemble étant étendu. Très calme et maison fraîche malgré les fortes chaleurs. Accès rapide à Sienne (15mn), superbe piscine.

Tolles Feriendomizil mit allem was man braucht!

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche mit 3 Kindern in der großzügig geschnittenen Wohnung mit toller Terasse und wunderschöner Aussicht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben jeden Tag Zeit am Pool verbracht und viel spaß gehabt.

Wir, 2 Erwachsene und unsere Kinder im Alter von 18 und 17 Jahren, haben das Haus sehr genossen.

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, sehr großzügig geschnitten und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Kaminofen am Abend, der fantastische Ausblick und der tolle Pool machen das Haus zu einem wundervollen Urlaubsdomizil. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit in der wunderschönen Landschaft der Toskana ist grandios.

Ein wunderschönes, gepflegtes, großzügiges Feriendomizil, traumhafte Aussicht, himmlische Ruhe

Zu viert verlebten wir 12 Tage in diesem wunderbaren, gepflegten, behutsam sanierten und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus, waren überwältigt von der traumhaften Aussicht von unserer Terrasse in der oberen Wohnung in die toskanische Hügellandschaft und der überwältigenden Ruhe. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern, die hilfreichen Anweisungen im Haus trugen, die gut ausgestatteten Räumlichkeiten und der gepflegte Pool trugen zum allgemeinen Wohlbefinden bei. Wir können dieses Feriendomizil uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Einzig die Anfahrt im Dunkeln gestaltete sich etwas schwierig. Die Navis wollten dieses "Poggiarello" nicht so recht finden. Umso größer die Freude beim Erreichen unseres Ziels und dem ersten Schluck köstlichen Rotweins auf der Terrasse, der mit einem freundlichen Gruß der Vermieter zur Begrüßung bereitgestellt war. Herzlichen Dank für die ausgesprochen freundliche Überlassung Ihrer Wohnung.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt in diesem herrlichen Anwesen. Wie oft haben wir auf der Terrasse der oberen Wohnung oder im Soggiorno vor dem großen Portalfenster gesessen und einfach nur mit einem Glas Rotwein in der Hand in die Landschaft geschaut. Es sieht genauso aus wie auf dem Fresko von Lorenzetti im Rathaus von Siena. Man kann zahllose Ausflüge machen und abends immer wieder in die Stille auf dem Hügel zurückkehren. Jetzt im Herbst haben wir es uns abends gemütlich gemacht vor dem Feuer des Kaminofens. In der Küche ist alles, ja noch mehr vorhanden als das, was man zum Kochen braucht. Uns persönlich haben ganz besonders die Kunstwerke angesprochen, die die Räume schmücken. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und weitläufig, man fühlt den Stolz der Toskaner… in jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert!
